Lume is aluminum free, therefore, not an antiperspirant. While Lume contains ingredients that help to absorb wetness, it does not prevent perspiration. Lume deodorants do not leave stains on clothing and will wash out easily with normal laundering.

While Lume is non toxic, it is not considered edible and has an acidic taste. We recommend applying a trace amount to clean, dry skin a few times a week rather than immediately before intimacy. No need to wash off prior to intercourse or oral sex.
