Full transparency here - I do not like the flavor of this on its own, but I have figured out a mixture that works very well for me. I love the Dunkin pineapple mango refresher, but it's just a ton of sugar and empty calories. I was hoping the tropical punch mix would be similar in flavor and of course, it was not nearly the same. That said, it is a very light flavor that is not overly sweet, so I now add one Dunkin sugar free pineapple mango powder packet to the scoop of protein powder, and while the taste isn't an exact match, it's a really good dupe that gives me 20g of protein first thing in the morning. I now find that I crave this every morning and it has helped me tremendously since starting my GLP-1 journey. I struggle a lot with being aggressively NOT hungry a lot of the time, and especially in the morning, eating a nutritious breakfast with protein is really tough for me to manage. This gets me off on the right foot and gets me through until either lunch or a mid-morning snack - if you are typically hungry, I doubt this is going to fill you at all, but if you also struggle with not being hungry or you just need another way to easily get protein, this could be a really great option for you. The texture is absolutely smooth and there is no viscosity or sliminess like you can get with some clear proteins. It needs to be shaken very well, but once the foam dies down, it's exactly the consistency of water. I do mix it with a good 24 oz of water and ice (best super cold in my opinion), and that combo with the Dunkin packet gives me a protein refresher that I can easily stomach and enjoy any time of day, but especially when the lack of hunger is preventing me from eating real food. Digestive-wise, this one is great for me. I have noticed that other protein drinks (the creamy whey shakes and even the protein milks) can sit in my stomach like concrete or even give me nasty GERD symptoms. This one does not at all for me. I also tried the Isopure mixed berry packets with electrolytes and those immediately gave me a stomach ache - maybe the electrolytes, I don't know. I did some research on other similar products and this one is a decent per oz. price, and it's a nice light product with great texture and high quality ingredients that can be mixed up with other powders. Highly recommend to anyone struggling with GLP-1 or bariatric surgery challenges.

I've been on the lookout for any kind of protein powder that I can add to my water. I've been told that whey powders have an odd taste, so when I found this one, I was thinking: "maybe the fruity taste will counteract the weird taste of whey." I was not disappointed in this product. The taste is light and crisp and there isn't a weird aftertaste at all. There are a few cons, which have been mentioned in previews reviews. The most common one is that the powder is clumpy and hard to break down. While this is true, it doesn't take much effort to get the powder to completely dissolve. I added a scoop of the mix (sometimes 1.5 scoops) and gave the pitcher a vigorous shake. There was an immediate foaming reaction, but after a minute, it went away. There were still clumps, but I just repeated the process a couple more times and all the clumps were gone. (I added a little metal shaker ball because some people said it helped, but it very well could just be in there for no reason) My protein levels are pretty low, so it's still a bit early to tell if this works or not. It is a bit pricey, but apparently all protein powders/supplements are. But, I really like the taste, and it makes me feel like I'm doing something to help my protein intake, so I will keep using it.

I needed some way to get in additional protein after a surgery, as my vegetarian diet wasn't cutting it, but I HATE the texture and flavor of common protein powders - chalky, in texture and flavor, with an indescribably unpleasant aftertaste, in my opinion. This really does cut that problem in half. There is absolutely no chalkiness, it at least looks and feels just like crystal light, and it still does the job. (Note: it is NOT vegetarian, so don't order this if you're a *strict* vegetarian. I make exceptions when it doesn't look or taste like an animal.) I did not love the flavor. I got the fruit punch flavor and it kind of tastes good for a moment, but has a very bitter aftertaste. In my opinion it DOESN'T taste just like crystal light, contrary to some of the other reviews. At least, that was my experience. I have noticed that I'm a lot more sensitive to bitter flavors than other people in my life, so you may not experience that at all. But if you ARE sensitive to bitter flavors, be prepared to drink this as quickly as possible. It still beats a chalky powder drink, and it's much easier to chug, so considering just how much I dislike every other option, I'm considering this 4 stars even though I dislike the flavor. Most people will probably like this better than me because of my picky taste buds, so I do think it is deserved.

First clear protein Ive had. Ok however has a bit of a bitter after taste. Maybe its normal for clear whey?

Haven't used anything like this before. It dissolves in water ro a clear liquid and tastes great! I am not going back to any other protien powder

Love this item. I can now get my daily protein intake while I am at work. It’s not like a shake, which is normally thick.
