Classy Little Thang
Like many other buyers/reviewers, I find this watch way better than its price. The simple design, the elegant silver dial, the use of chromed hour markers instead of numerals, the mirror polish on the bezel against the satin finish of the case, they all add up to a really nice watch. It's too small for a man at 38mm case diameter by today's standards but I bought this for a woman. The plan was to also order a more feminine strap than the black crocodile supplied, and I did, four of them just to be safe: one each in yellow, maroon & lavender leather and a silicone number with a cartoony jellyfish pattern in lots of colours. Only to find when the watch arrived today that the product description of a 22mm lug width is erroneous. It's really 20mm. Not Casio's fault, not Amazon's fault. The importer/seller. I reported the error where it says to do so on the appropriate page in the Amazon catalogue, but nothing ever comes of that. I have a Recipient B for at least two of the straps and I'll try to cut the corners off the two others to make them fit, but still...Excellent watch, price more than fair, I just should've waited until I had it in hand before spending more on straps than on the watch itself.

Beautiful, well designed, classic style
I collect many different brands and styles of watches and this Casio is a shining star among the bunch. Really a beautiful, classic design, and very well made. Nice black croc leather strap that compliments the polished stainless case and highly polished indices. I have a 6.5-7 inch wrist and this watch looks perfect on it and wears very comfortably. Also very affordable. Highly recommend this beautiful Casio.

What a price point bargain watch.
I didn't think I would go this low price wise on buying a watch, but I like the classic look and wanted to add this to the heard because it reminds me of one of the watches I had many years ago (but it was a daily winder). And Casio is a well known brand (I also have Orient, Seiko, Traser, Timex - just ordered another Orient).A basic simplistic battery ticker. Only a couple days use and seconds are spot on so far. Band is already softening up (also bought a couple NATO bands for this and other watches, but I think I can live fine with this band, just don't care for the shine / knocked a shiny star for that. The second hand is spot on the ticks/markers. Crown guards are just right. Watch & band is great for my wrist size. The ticking is not loud like a couple other watches I have/had. I have to hold it to my ear to hear it.What a bargain at its price point. Simple, clean, some classy look. Lets see... do I wear a Casio for the Casino.Add 3/10/18 - getting ready to re-set the time for time change and checking this watch time (I hack the seconds to GMT on seconds) I notice since I got this watch that the seconds is running +15 seconds ahead from day one when I set it. Not bad, not bad at all for a watch especially at this price. Can't complain about that.Still looks good (like new) and the band has softened for my wrist. For a simple inexpensive watch that hold time well, I'm pretty happy about that. After all, a watch should tell what it is vs what time it isn't.

Great looking and great value
This is a great looking watch. On my 6.75'' wrist, a 38mm watch is perfect, and this one is no exception. Clean, legible dial. No lume but that's not a big deal for me. One issue: the date window is VERY small. To read the date, especially when it's in the double digits, I need to pull the watch closer to my face so I can see it. So far the watch is keeping perfect time, and this is a Japanese movement Casio. One more note on the case: I like the proportions and case design, although the crown guard is a little weird and doesn't quite work for me, but again, this is minor and a matter of taste. For the price, hard to see how this watch can be beat!

Real Reviews - Amazing watch for under $25
Casio is not a luxury watch brand. They are a household electronics manufacturing brand. This watch can easily sell for twice its retail price. It is sleek, stylish, and reliable.I've included pictures to let them do the talking. The only gripe I have with the watch is that a light tap against an edged or cornered surface can leave an indent on the polished metal rim around the face of the timepiece. However it is barely noticeable.I have only worn the watch for a couple days so far, but have received many compliments.People unfamiliar with the Casio brand thought I paid anywhere from $100-$200 for this watch.Perfect for budget conscious and pragmatic consumers. Please note: my pictures were taken with a phone camera, and there is a little bit of grass on the watch in some pictures because they were taken outside while playing golf. I did not notice the speck dirt or grass. But the details of the watch are still very visible.

Finally, a true dress watch at a great price.
First, the picture shown does no justice to this watch. It's far better looking than pictured. A much better depiction (including a video) can be found here, Casio MTP1183E 7ACF Black Leather Dress although that seller has it for about $10 more.Second, this watch meets all criteria for a true dress watch; no numbers, leather band, white face, only a date complication, no unnecessary dials etc...For $16 it's perfect. Something comparable (looks wise) from Bulova will run you $100. From JLC; 10,000. At even a small distance, nobody is going to be able to tell that this is a $16 japanese quartz unless they ask to see your watch, which they shouldn't. True dress watches are meant to be attractive, yet otherwise simple and unremarkable. I'm surprised at how many other "affordable" dress watches miss this mark entirely. The Casio MTP1183E bulls-eyes it.EDIT: I added a photo under diffused sunlight so you can see what I mean about how nice this watch is.
