Super easy to clean, i love this thing to make breakfast for all the family

Used this tonight and the bacon came out perfect. Cleanup was a snap. Definitely a great purchase.

Easy to clean and it gets really hot!

So far the surface is perfect, nothing sticks and easy to clean. Downside is that the grease tray is shallow and barely holds the grease from cooking a pound of bacon. We got a set of pans with this coating before and they’re holding up great so far as well. So far Starfrit’s The Rock cookware is the best cookware purchases we’ve ever made. Hopefully they continue to hold up.

Nope! Don't do it... Had problems from the beginning with this thing (bought in 2022). The stench would not burn off of it for the longest. Then the plug malfunctioned and the acted like it was my fault. Now after 3yrs and VERY limited, but proper and careful use, the plug apparently went out on it again.

My apologies to the other reviewers who tried to warn me about uneven heating. I thought all electric skillets are a little uneven and you were being overdramatic. I was wrong as this skillet takes uneven heating to a whole new level. I had previously bought the 12"x12" version and that was more manageable. I really like the surface, and it cleans up nicely. That is the surface itself. The handles are so close to skillet that it's difficult to get between them to clean. The stop for the catch tray is too tight. I had to file it down so you can pull it out without a large jerking motion when you finally used enough force to pull it past. Perhaps I could have just bent the tray guide some to get it to pass more easily. I would not recommend this skillet for someone cooking the same thing over the whole skillet. Might not be so bad for cooking two or three different things at the same time but does not work well for filling it up with pancakes.

My first griddle came with one of the supporting legs cracked and the company sent another griddle. I should have asked for a refund, because in early January the same leg cracked again. I was told that I'm past the point of return and they offered to sell me a warranty. No thank you! This is defective and new parts will only break in a few more months. Save yourself the money and look for something else. This is a piece of junk! Warning: I was told I was outside the 30 day return policy. This should tell you the quality of the product.

I’ve tried many grills. This is by far the best size wise. There are little areas where eggs or pancakes will seep into and then are a pain to wash. This entire larger than expected flat grill is all even. So easy to wash. I haven’t had great luck with the rock products in the past so I’m hoping this one will be the exception. For the price and the size I’m super happy. Most of the grills were smaller and it could only allow me to make three pancakes at a time. Now I can do six. Hopefully this holds up well. The bottom is not plastic. It’s made of the same material as the surface of the grill. It’s very sturdy and I’m happy with the purchase so far.

This electric griddle is great! Non stick, easy to clean!

Just received my new Starfrit griddle and couldn't be more happy with it.It has a huge cooking surface compared to my old one and the heat is even with no hot spots.

Very good product so far. However, the two sides does not heat equally.

Edit again: Fast forward to Sept 3, first time to use the griddle with the replacement plug and it died again after approximately 20 minutes of use. Clearly either the issue is with the griddle itself or else the plugs have serious reliability issues. Emailed Starfrit Customer Service back again. Edit: I contacted Starfrit on Aug 30 about this issue and on Sept 1 a replacement plug showed up in my mailbox. I have to say that I am super impressed by Starfrit’s customer service. Tested it and it works. Hopefully lasts longer than the last one. Bought this in November 2021. Worked well, did what it was supposed to do, heat was actually pretty even. Fast forward 9 months to August 2022 and the plug just stopped working. I probably only used it 6-8 times during this period and it’s nothing more than a door stop or paper weight without the plug. Very disappointed. I know they don’t make things like they used to but this is a bit ridiculous.
