Bare Home Minky Fleece Weighted Blanket (Light Pink, 40"x60" 10lbs)

I've had this on my bed for only a few short hours and I'm already in love. This is my 4th weighted blanket. My first was a small one by Y N M that my mom passed down to me. It was funky and lumpy and small, but I bought another one from them (bigger) and gave them a chance. I couldn't sleep without it. Eventually, the beads shifted, similar to the first, and I bought their newer, smaller square version, which I thought would provide that hug you get from a good weighted blanket. Only, that new one, while the same size, felt smaller and left the hug lacking and the cold creeping in as I struggled to stay covered by it. I saved a bunch of other brands in a list and went back frequently, becoming more and more indecisive as I struggled with what brand to try next. This one kept tugging at me. I chose to get the minky version, which in Florida might not be so great of an option in the summer, but after one short night I'm convinced this is the one. The pockets are larger than I'm used to and the beads aren't as pronounced, but the weight distribution seems to dispersed evenly with good padding within. I don't know how well it will hold after a wash, but time will tell. I chose to go bigger with the 80x87 and im glad I did. I don't want to share, but I surely could at this size. A 60x80 was great for just me, but even then it was a snug fit. I'm so used to bamboo and it's cooling properties. If the polyester/mink becomes too hot in the FL summer I will probably give the regular version a try. Im so in love with the eggplant color which I've yet to find offered elsewhere. I'll update this after I've had the chance to try this one when the FL heat rears it's head again.

I'm gonna give this blanket the whole 5 stars. I have had it for a week or two and i have no complaints. The fabric is both very soft and comfortable on the skin. It's a lot thinner then i expected it to be but that is not an issue. The pockets are spaced very well and the weight distribution across the blanket is even. I did a shake test to see how much the beads moved and i had to really shake it to even notice they moved, and you really cant tell unless your trying to find the beads, which are quite small. I purchased the king size 30lb blanket and it is pretty heavy, so much so that it can be hard to adjust the blanket if it needs moved around in the night. This is not a problem for me as I don't move around much when I sleep. I also have pets, and my cats love to sleep on it when I'm not using it, and sometimes when I am using it! It's worth noting that pet hair doesn't seem to stick to it which is yet another positive. For the price, this blanket has MORE then exceeded my expectations! The blanket looks good, feels good, and I've gotten the best sleep I can remember with it. I was late to work this morning because i accidentally slept through my alarm and I think the blanket is to blame!

I love, love, love these fleece weighted blankets from Bare Home. I’ve never had a weighted blanket feel as soft, luxurious, and substantial as this one. This is my second one (first was a gift). They are truly heavy, in a good way - in a soothing, warm hug type of way. I’m someone who struggles with anxiety (especially at nighttime) and I haven’t always loved going to bed, but I actually look forward to it now because my bed is so cozy with this amazing weighted blanket. The only thing to look out for is if you have a small dog that sleeps in the bed with you, it can be hard for them to maneuver underneath it so I always keep it askew to one side of the bed and roll up the other side so my dog can get in and out of the blankets as she needs to without struggle. I’ve tried other brands of weighted blankets, and they just didn’t compare to this one. Nowhere near as soft and comforting as this one. 10/10 highly recommend this blanket to anyone with anxiety or that is just looking to get a great night’s sleep.

Daughter really enjoys this weighted blanket it helps keep her comfortable and stress free when she's trying to rest. Great materials and soft texture.

I bought this really nice weighted blanket for my sister and it was such nice quality and it was so soft the only thing was it was the right weight just it didn’t feel heavy enough but it was but it wasn’t. Looks just like photo. But she loves it anyway!

Soft, comfy, cozy. Weighs really heavy lol. I’d recommend a lower weight for any non body lifters (joke but it is heavy).

I was surprise at how heavy it was when received. But this thing does work with helping you sleep. Its heavy but lightweight enough where it doesnt get to hot. I would defintely recommend if you have trouble falling asleep this thing will help!

This is my third weighted blanket. The last one I bought I ended up donating because the side that was supposed to be “fuzzy” ended up a matted mess. Lint and dog hair embedded in it and I ended up hating it. After two washes, it was essentially ruined. So I bought this replacement and when I say I could not be happier, I mean it. The minky texture is silky and stays cool without ever getting too hot. You can shake pet hair off of it. It’s incredibly soft. But more importantly, the weight distribution is the absolute best. It’s heavy without making you feel weighed down, if that makes sense. And it holds up beautifully after washing and drying it. I honestly can’t sleep without it now. Highly recommend. If you’re on the fence, get it. You won’t regret it!

How have I lived without one of these for so long?! This is the best purchase I’ve made in I don’t know how long. Just arrived today and even cold out of the box I felt like I was wrapped in heaven. The material is so silky soft and does not disappoint! The colour is gorgeous and I feel like I’ve been gifted pure luxury in a blanket. Can’t say enough good things about this blanket. It’s perfect. Must buy.
