Great Peace of Mind
I had been hesitant to install a screen protector on my Note 9 thinking it may affect the use of the phone. I found a small scratch on my screen even after being very consciousness with having anything touch the screen that may damage it. I decided it was time to go ahead and try a screen protector. It is overwhelming how many options there are, but after seeing the great reviews and price of this IQ Shield screen protector, I figured I may as well try it. This is a clear flexible film screen protector, so it likely won't protect against an impact, but it should prevent scratches. IQ Shield provides a nice kit with cleaner, microfiber cloth, and two protectors. Installation was easy and it is a near perfect fit with my Spigen case. There are no borders that may block the screen as I saw with some other protectors and the cutouts match the front camera and speaker. The film adhered to the curves of the Note 9 screen and show no signs of pealing after being on for a couple weeks. During the install, you do have to rub them down several times, but then they stick once dried. I was concerned how the stylus would feel against the protector. It is not as smooth as the glass since it is a slightly rubbery, but it is not bad. It has not affected my stylus use and I am satisfied. The film is crystal clear and I don't even notice it during use. I'm glad I finally got around to installing a screen protector so I don't have to worry about scratches. I highly recommend this one and would buy again.

Very good bang for the buck (and 5 stars for the customer service by IQ Shield)
I purchased IQ Shield LiquidSkin Case Friendly Screen Protector (2-pack) for my Galaxy Note 9 in mid-September 2018 and have been pretty pleased with it. The application process might be a bit daunting to those who have no experience on such a method. However, if you follow the instruction video by IQ Shield, you may find it surprisingly straightforward to apply the film on your Galaxy Note 9. The film does its job as advertised: it shows decent optical clarity (after the adhesive partially dries up), it protects the screen from scratches, it stays on the controversial (if not notorious) curved edges nicely, and it does not really affect the use of S-Pen. A couple of caveats I personally found about the application process: 1) It may be a good idea to wear a clean shower cap while applying the film so as to minimize the chance of getting dandruff trapped between the screen and the film (and thus making an eyesore!) 2) To ensure there is no bubble trapped between the screen and the film, it may be necessary to repeat the following process a few times: partially peel off the film from the corner near the trapped bubble, weaken the adhesive by wetting it with the installation solution, use the squeegee to squeeze out the bubbles and solution, and inspect the film for any imperfections. Speaking of the installation solution, here I'd like to give a big thumb-up to IQ Shield: They swiftly responded to my email (through which I asked them where I could buy replacement installation solutions) by sending me one for free! I am really amazed by how much they care about their customers despite the low-cost (and probably low-margin) nature of this product. If you are fine with TPU screen protectors and the associated wet-application process, IQ Shield LiquidSkin Case Friendly Screen Protectors are really worth considering.

Great choice for wet film screen protector
After two weeks of constant use, I'd say the screen protector holds up fairly well. The application process was easy, if a bit fiddly. The scratch resistance is admirable, but leaves some to be desired. Most notably with using the S pen. The film is very resistant to scratches and scrapes from small sharp objects. Since the note 9 is a phone with a smart pen, I do find some places where the nib has left small divots and marks on the screen. This does not inhibit the use of the pen or make the screen hard to look at. Some notes on installation: Use plenty of the included spray, most notably on your hands. This will help to keep the film from sticking to them. It will also make it easier to handle when adjusting the fit. Take your time. Don't work if it isn't right the first time, just peel it off before it sticks, reapply the water/soap mix and try again. I played around with it three or four times before I let it set. Overall this is a good choice when looking at wet application films. It's a great value with two coming in the box and works well for everyday use. One caveat, if you use the S pen as a writing tool frequently, you will find that the nib will start to stick in places. It takes some delicate tweaking of how you use the pen to have it work great with this film.

Adheres to the Curved Screen with No Loss of Sensitivity
I'm *so* glad I purchased this screen protector. I've gone through a multitude of screen shields for my phones and never found anything I was truly happy to use. The situation got much worse with the curved Samsung phones where the protectors either sacrificed sensitivity or barely lasted a month. I paid serious cash for a Zagg "ruby" screen protector on my phone that crapped out within sixty days. I recently purchased a Note 9 on Samsung's cool upgrade program. Anyway, I decided to take the risk on this screen saver. Initially I was highly skeptical... there are directions and a spray solution to use to achieve a good fit. I never wanted permanent solution that adheres to the phone (paranoid about screwing it up). Nonetheless, I watched the Youtube video and followed the directions. Of note: I am terrible with craft and detail projects. My fine motor control is sub-par. I almost asked/paid for my arty daughter to do this... but... it worked great! The spray allows for movement of the screen protector so if you first (or second, or third) effort fails you have an opportunity to fix it. Assuming you really botch the effort they include a second protector. The included tools help squish out the excess liquid and air bubbles. The result is a well-secured protector (again, even on the curved Samsung screen) that has flawless touch sensitivity. Brief aside on touch sensitivity: I often run and put the phone in an arm band with a plastic cover. I can still get the screen to respond... its really impressive. There is no downgrade to the display either. The only caveat is, on the powered off screen, there exists a very slight hazy appearance. Its strongest immediately after application and does fade (but never disappears). Its not an issue (as I look at my powered off screen I see smudges from fingerprints but no haziness). Once the screen turns on you can't tell at all... This is a fantastic product at a very low price. It does take some patience to install and the manufacture recommends letting the screen sit overnight (optimally 24 hours) before using it. In my situation, I placed the screen protector on the phone, waited 24 hours, and then did all the data transfers without issue. As to its protective nature, I've seen no issues. I've inadvertently put the phone in my pocket with keys and there are no scratches. Its been dropped too. Its been 30 days and I haven't seen any bubbling up or the protector peeling away from the sides (unlike the overpriced Zagg item). This manufacturer really surprised me... I didn't expect much and didn't hope for anything this good but I'm delighted. Well done!

This Screen Protector Really Works
I recently upgraded my cell phone to a Samsung Note 9. It's a pretty phone and I really wanted to protect it with a case and screen cover. It should also be noted that I am a klutz and guaranteed to drop my phone. I initially picked up a pack of two tempered glass screen protectors that were supposedly all kinds of "-proof"/"-resistant." I dropped my phone once with the other protector on, straight down so that it hit on the screen side. The other protector shattered, though my screen did not. I figured that it broke because it couldn't handle that kind of impact on the entirety of the protector. Fortunately, it was a two-pack, so I replaced the first with the spare. Pretty soon after, I dropped my phone again (I'm a klutz, remember?) and this time it hit on the corner of the device. The protector cracked again. So, I figured glass wasn't the way to go and decided to get something different. This protector shipped incredibly fast and it does all the things the tempered glass ones didn't do. It was extremely easy to install with clear instructions. Installation involves a special spray that comes in the packaging, a squeegee that is also included, and some light pressure from your hands. The protector went on perfectly and was easy to adjust since I didn't get the placement quite right the first time. The squeegee made removing bubbles and smoothing everything out quite easy. I will note that I saw a couple tiny bubbles in the first couple of days after installing the protector, but these were easy to simply rub out. The edges of the protector have molded perfectly to my phone, so there's no debris sticking to the edges as with the first protector. It's only been a couple of weeks, so I can't be sure this is totally klutz-proof, but I've gotten no scratches, dings, dents, or cracks in my phone screen just yet. If anything happens, I will update my review. However, I highly recommend this screen protector at the moment.

Perfect Screen Protector
I have been using liquid assist install screen protectors for years, and the IQ product is great. Why is liquid better? Because when you do a dry adhesive screen, there is really no place for the bubbles to go. When you squeegee them out, a liquid application is a much easier approach. Here are some key tips: 1) Watch the video on the website. 4 minutes is time well spent, compared to the 40 you would spend on the phone complaining or asking for another screen protector to try again. 2) Work in a clean area. Seriously.... this may be the most important. Wash your hands, don't smoke while doing the install, lock your dog out of the room and clean your work area. 3) Spray the solution all over the protector, including the edges. This is really important for curved screens like the Note 9 and S9/+. Make sure to spray enough... not too dripping wet, but don't be stingy either. Your phone is waterproof and the excess can be shaken off and/or will dry! 4) When you lay down the protector, start at one end and then lay it down lengthwise, almost as if it were a dry application. You will still have some bubbles, but nothing as bad as just plopping it down. 5) Use the squeegee with the right side up. You will know you are doing it right because you can see the bubbles and fluid moving with the tip. Be gentle... and don't go crazy over the smallest dots...just focus on the big bubbles. 6) After it sits for a few minutes, make sure the curved edges are adhering. Use your palm to push down anywhere that is not flat on the screen. Perhaps the biggest tip: Do the install at night. You want to let it dry completely before putting a case on or handling the phone. If you don't follow this one, you may end up shifting the plastic or pulling up the edges. Some final notes: 1) This protector DOES seem to cover the iris scanner and LED, but no one seems to be experiencing any issues. I do not use this authentication, so I can't confirm anything. 2) This protector is only good for scratches - if you are looking for shatter proofing, wait for Gorilla 6 or buy a tempered glass protector and big case. 3) The s-pen works fine and the protector is smooth like glass. 4) You may notice more smudging with a screen protector like this, but I would rather clean smudges than have to live with scratches on my $1,000 phone. Good luck - this is a good product...just take your time. R

Plastic vs. glass screen protectors
Lets just start this review off by stating glass is and always will be superior to protecting your screen. especially touchscreen devices. However the biggest draw back to glass is that the adhesive backing is almost always a thin strip around the edges of the protector. Because of this, the chances of keeping the screen protector on your phone for prolonged periods of time is slim to none. Enter plastic screen protectors. These things STICK. They hold onto your screen through the roughest of conditions. Whether you've left your device out in the 200 degree sun or you drop it in water, they cling to your screen no matter what. I've yet to have one fall off without me trying. The biggest down sides of plastic protectors is their optical clarity. No matter how "clear" these companies claim their plastics are, they never are quite good enough for our ever advancing screen technologies. The IQ shield is better then most but there's still a ton of orange peel. Also, there was 0 instructions on how to install it onto my phone. Only what to do after the fact i.e. bubbles and the edges not cooperating. Lastly, if you have an otter box for your note 9, LEAVE THE INNER PLASTIC SKELETON ON. I know you want to remove it but the inner plastic casing will give you the perfect template on where and how to place the guard down. if it its even a millimeter too far to either side then the edges will catch the case and start to peel up slowly over time. I can deal with the down sides of plastic screen protectors, its up to you to decide if you can, especially when its a device that costs as much as a mid-tier gaming laptop.

Dust, And Perfection
You will notice it's a 4-star review, so without further ado, this is a good product. It's (relatively) easy to apply - much easier than a dry application, fits well, and provides moderate scratch protection to your screen. As for the dust, unless you are in a NASA Clean Room, you are extremely likely to get dust under the screen - which will subsequently show up as a tiny lump under the film. Maybe just one lump (or two), but in my opinion almost unavoidable. You may, with a half-dozen tries, achieve perfection, but unlikely. Maybe a dozen. Because a spray, and a wet application, will attract dust. And unlike a dry film, you will be unable to remove them during application. As the film dries though, they will be virtually unnoticeable. And most users will be unlikely to notice they even have them. And they won't affect the function of the screen at all. But if you even a little OCD, they will be there, eternally visible on a reflective flat surface, and will look like Everest. So this is a message to a very small percentage of end users, who may find this frustrating, but it's very much the nature of the beast. The alternatives are a dry protector, from which dust particles can be removed, or a tempered glass protector. Or be prepared, statistically, to go through many of these kits. Or close your eyes, and get over it. A good protector, and recommended.

Fantastic
Not the easiest to install but very forgiving. If you mess up. A good tip is to really use the bottle of spray on your fingertips generously. Keep steady. That's the best advice I can give with it. I'm after dropping my phone from 5 feet on the glass and thinking oh f*#k. But look at the screen and it is in mint condition. HIGHLY recommended series of screen protectors.

A quality Screen Protector
Kit comes with easy to follow instructions. When I installed it there are a few tiny bubbles visible, but it disappeared completely the next day. I am happy with this product.
