If I were to make up the whole 1.5lb bag, how much volume of cream does it make? A gallon? More/less?

You will add an equal amount of water to powder to make heavy cream. 340 teaspoons works out to just over 7 cups. I’d start with 6 cups and slowly work up to 7 or 7.5 cups.

Is this an organic product?

if it was organic there would be no question, as it would be very noticeable on package! It is however non GMO and btw, the taste is great! I bought originally to store in case of food shortages (got to have my coffee!) but now use it everyday!!

Has anyone successfully cultured this product to make kefir or sour cream?

I use it for homemade yoghurt, but use a little whole milk with it. I don't see why it would not work, however.

Good stuff

I’d buy this again. I use it for my portable coffee kit. I like that this is real cream powder - tastes great and easy to travel with. My kit includes a collapsible kettle, rechargeable frother, instant starbucks. I find that the heavy cream powder mixes easily with hot coffee or hot water using the frother- glad I found this & recommend.

Ok in a pinch.

Okay for baking in a pinch. But not to blend into a smoothie. Okay It has a bit of an off taste compared to other heavy cream powders I have tried. It tastes like sheep's milk, to me, although AI said it is sourced from cow's milk.
