This is our original fireplace mortar formulated especially to patch fireplace fireboxes and to bond firebrick to firebrick. Fireplace mortar is a silicate product that when fire cured, sets rock hard - as strong as firebrick itself and withstands 2000° Fahrenheit. Comes in a convenient cartridge for easy repointing of fireplace brick within the firebox. Colors match most mortars. Passes ASTM E136 and E72. 10.3 oz. cartridges. (2 Pack)

ONLY FOR INDOOR USE!!!
Had to wait for this to arrive only to find that it isn't to be used outdoors. I bought it to use on a fireplace I built. Guess it'll just collect dust in my garage.

Works great, doesn't go very far
Product didn't go nearly as far as I'd hope. Used it for my fire pit. Bought a pair of these times and only had enough for 2 layers and used it very sparingly. Will have to order at least 3 more to finish.

Not for outdoor use. Won't set. A mess.

Works well worth the money but shrinkage is not good shrinks way too much after been heated a few times starts to flake and leave debris behind
