Feels and looks like OEM
I am pleased to say that this met all my expectations and more. I was told that I would need to re-use my old temp sensor due to there being an extra hole. However this did come sealed and plugged and looked exactly like my OEM removed. Comes with Square o-ring at block mount, Temp sensor, T-stat (installed), and outlet for hose attach. Fast-N-easy install.

Good thermostat housing but replace the thermostat with a motorcraft
Installed almost 2 years ago on my 2008 Ford Explorer. 4.0 l . The installed thermostat had a poor design which allowed the little brass pin installed on the thermostat to be long enough to stick under the lip and hold the thermostat open, which triggered the check engine light to check thermostat. I removed the thermostat and replaced with a motorcraft and no problems. The supplied coolant temp sensor worked fine. Use your old sensor to plug the extra hole. Seems like a high quality part for a low price.
