This solved my big problem.
Perfect connector and convertor from straight to cross null modem.

Solid product
Have used dozens of these on marine vessels in moist and corrosive environments with a lot of vibration. They hold up well. The narrow design is great. Other null modems are an inch long and take up more space.

Small Solution...
...to an irritating problem: having to carry two cables, one straight-thru and one null modem. This simple plug on the end of a straight-through cable turns it into a null modem, fast & easy.

What's not to like?
There's not a lot to one of these things. Either they get the. mounts tapped properly or they don't. In this case they made them properly and they work fine.
