The mounting system is great.

i get the feeling the one i got failed full QA or was a return. it works, the volume it less than other soundbars of similar size. i have it plugged in a lenovo docking station, when i pull laptop out it gives off a high pitched whistle - just loud enough to be really annoying.

I actually use one of these with an old CRT monitor I have for playing NES and Super NES games. I just set the speaker on top of the monitor and use a 3.5mm female to RCA plug adapter to plug the consoles into this speaker. It works great and sounds way better than the internal speaker of the monitor. It also fits nicely on top of the monitor so it doesn't take up any desk space. The monitor doesn't have a USB slot so I use an old cell phone plug to plug the USB power cable into. One of the main things I really like about this soundbar over most others is the size of it. It is only about 12 inches long (wide) so it is very compact and easily fits on top of my 14 inch crt monitor. It uses a standard 3.5mm plug instead of bluetooth or sending sound over USB. Finally, this speaker has 2 headphone jacks and a volume control on the side. Not sure why you would need two headphone jacks but I suppose you could always use one of them as a line out to some larger speakers or a TV or something if you wanted and depending how you had everything hooked up..

Works ok but has a very low maximum volume, it is very difficult to hear speech in videos

I got this for my teenage son to add to a PC monitor and use as a television in his room with an AppleTV pod. He installed it on his own in about 2 minutes and was on his way. Great sound. Great solution.

Very nice and easy to install. Noisy if volume is turned high and there is no input from the device. I would recommend this for a nice addition and for the price quality seems good and sound is very good.

Very good item for the price, if you cannot screws it to your screen, just use double face tape.

It's easy enough to install and I like the headphone jacks and volume control. Unfortunately, there's a constant buzzing / hissing / squealing sound in the background that makes it really irritating to leave turned on. Granted, it's a monitor-mounted speaker bar and no one should expect audiophile quality from it but I was expecting it to be at least as good as the ones for Dell monitors in that they don't have any background noise.

Great HP speaker bar. Good alternate for monitors with built-in speakers - better sound quality. As PC speakers the sound quality (specifically speech) is great, however they are not going to replace any HiFi speakers - poor low end reproduction. All cabling is easily hidden away with your monitor cables. USB powered so can be left switched on and then power supplied as you switch on/off your PC. Supplied locking screws not needed and relevant holes were not found on my monitor but just snaps and remains in place. Compatible HP monitors should have the relevant fixing tabs at the bottom (back) of the screen.

Non è un dolby ma io l' ho acquistato per il mio Elite Display E271i e si sposa perfettamente essendo HP. Ho tolto dalla scrivania altri fili inutili, lo consiglio vivamente. Alla sua destra possiede la rotellina per l' accensione e la regolazione del volume ed inoltre due ingressi cuffie aggiuntivi, per me ne è valsa la pena.
