I recently bought the Rope Untangling Puzzle Game and it has quickly become one of our favorite family games! The concept is simple — untangle the colored ropes without removing them from the board — but it’s surprisingly tricky and addictive. I love this screen-free, one person game. It really helps with keeping your brain busy, especially for anxiety. My adult daughter also uses it and we have a good time setting it up for each other. I've had this quite a long time and it's held up nicely. I even took it in my carryon backpack for a round trip flight. Good for travel. I imagine it would be nice on a road trip too! I do wish one of colors was different. There's gray and beige, and they're too similar in my opinion. Other than that, it's awesome! Side note: I also got another one that was cheaper plastic and thinner elastic cords. This one is much better quality!

This has been a hit for my 6 year old. He thinks it's really fun to make various level of challenges (referenced in the instructions) and complete them. Note, you do have to assemble the pieces yourself as far as tying the knots on each end and lacing the plastic pieces, along with adding the center sticker. It also comes with a plastic drawstring bag. Not very cute but probably functional (I opted against using so unsure). I think if you can manage the strings it is a great travel activity as well. Will definitely keep you or your child occupied if waiting somewhere.

I’m VERY SATISFIED with this product and recent purchase. It is great for the value, and has been a lot of fun for our family! When we first started, we did a simpler pattern and as we kept playing over and over, we increased the complexity of the construction of the ropes. This made for even more challenging yet fun and entertaining play! It is nice that there are different levels of skill that you can tinker with, all with the same set of materials. It was also super easy to set up despite momentarily freaking out that we would have to sort of assemble it ourselves before play! My 5-year old even beaded the plastic ends through the rope before handing them to me to tie the knots! Importantly, the instructions were very easy to follow, and we were playing within a couple of minutes! I really like the simple concept of the game in untangling the ropes one by one, turn by turn. It’s small package makes it easy for travel and on-the-go play! I’m so glad I chose this product for a Holiday gift to play with my kids!

I've seen this style of game as an app game on my phone and always thought it looked cool. Having a physical game like this is so much better for kids than the virtual game. I've been surprised how much kids enjoy finding the way to get things untangled. They have really enjoyed playing with it (ages 4-11). The brain teaser aspect of it is a nice distraction from other things and takes their whole focus.

Cheaply made

We bought the Rope Challenge game for a recent trip, and it turned out to be a fantastic purchase. It’s fun, portable, and a great way to stay entertained without relying on electronics.
