Excellent product. I used it as a two step henna + indigo process. First colored my hair with henna and then applied this product over henna colored hair. Absolutely delighted by the dark black result. It covers all greys beautifully in a natural way.Freedom from chemical colors that actually may damage your hair and cause all kinds of allergies in the long run. I will continue to use this product and color my hair the natural way! And Amazon's service is of course one of the best! :)

Für Seifenherstellung habe ich gekauft. Ich habe mit blauer Farbe gerechnet, nun leider ist es grün geblieben. Eigentlich ist es ein tolles Produkt, die grüne Farbe ist schön, wenn man diese will.

I like this brand of Indigo powder much more than other brands that I have used in the last 5 years. Make sure the hair is dry and not oily or else Henna and Indigo powder don't stick well. How to use it? Henna First 1. Soak Henna powder (I use Godrej Nupur) in tea decoction overnight. Apply it on the hair from the roots the next day by slightly warming the mix (warming required in the winter season). After 2 hours, rinse it well WITHOUT SHAMPOO. We can use lemon juice to rinse the hair. Indigo Next 2. After a day or two, when the hair is still dry, mix the Indigo powder with lukewarm water and rest it for only 5-10 mins. You will see the color of the mix turning dark blue. Apply it on the hair by using gloves. I just split the hair into two parts and finish one side and move on to the other. It takes about 10 mins to fully apply it to my hair. Wait for exactly 1 hour and then rinse it thoroughly WITHOUT SHAMPOO. 3. After about 2-3 days repeat only the Indigo step 2. Now, all the grey is covered. Later we can use shampoo to wash our hair. To maintain the color, alternatively, apply Henna and Indigo powder every weekend. (i.e this weekend if you apply henna, next weekend use Indigo). Pros: 1. Nice dark color. Covers the grey hair well. 2. No or less smell and no headache (I used to get a severe headache while using other brands due to its smell). 3. No or less itchiness compared to other brands. Cons: 1. Very expensive. I have used another brand for Rs 150 and it gave the same results but due to its unavailability, I was forced to buy this one. 2. Storage is challenging. If you don't store it properly in an air-tight container, the powder becomes stale and unusable. It loses its color. 3. Need to use fresh stock always and not buy in bulk. Although the expiry date is up to 2 years, it is best to use it within 6 months. 4. Color will go off if you take an oil head bath or don't follow the maintenance routine.
