So a month or so ago I ordered some of these waterslides very skeptical because I dislike change I only use another brand for 2 years I was desperate and heard good things about these waterslides so I went for it. I received them and totally loved the quality and how easy and thick they were . They were soft and gooey and went on super easy. Here I got to buy some more because I fell in love with that first batch and this one came and they are horrible they are super thin super hard to apply feel Goey and nothing like the first ones. Super unhappy will be going back to my original suplier

Very straight forward. This is a an absolutely wonderful product for those wanting to create fully colored [or black and white] decals. As with many water bath decals, this will show a slight background even being clear, so cut as close as you can to the image. I have old models that needed restoration and this paper was the ticket. The laser paper has performed solidly for me. It didn't take any soaking time at all and they go on smoothly and dry quickly.

UPDATE - WHITE Decals - This review is actually for the WHITE decals and the below is for the clear. But Amazon won't let me do separate review for the 2 different products apparently. I will still give the White decals 4 stars. They are pretty much the same as the clear but for the fact that the decal prints on a white background. Same issue with streaking in the printer, but still apply easily and look good. Unfortunately the white decals were shipped in an envelope and were creased when they arrived so a quarter of the paper is unusable. Overall not a bad product. CLEAR DECALS - I have never used Laser decal paper before so decided to try it since sealing the inkjet decals is a pain. The paper feeds fine in my HP Laserjet. For my first try I printed 6 decals for mugs on one sheet but was only able to use the first two because the toner picked up from them and smeared on the paper below ruining the remaining images. So now I just print two at the top, cut them off, send the paper back through and print two more and then have to tape the last strip to a carrier sheet and send it through. This works sometimes and sometimes not. But beyond wasting a bit of this expensive paper, they are very easy to apply. After drying I bake them in the oven at 300 for 20 minutes and you can hardly tell they are a decal. However, they still scratch if you aren't careful. Made myself a mug with a dollar store mug and glued rhinestones on. It is cute so I am happy with the product.

This product was a quick and artful solution to adding a header to a wood photo board I built for our summer cottage. (See photo). I followed the directions and it worked like a charm. I can pass on a few tips— 1. Use a high quality laser printer. The inexpensive Brother laser printer at my house gave poor results with washed out letters. I then tried using a high quality Xerox laser printer at work and the letters on the decal material came out sharp and well defined with excellent colors. 2. I wetted the wood destination slightly with warm water before applying the decals. The wood surface was semi smooth (rough sanded with a light latex rub). 2. After trimming the decals, I soaked in warm water one at a time for 30 seconds. I used a timer. 3. I put the decal with the backing where I wanted the decal to be and with a couple of fingers lightly keeping the decal in place, I gently pulled the backing to the right and out from under the decal, leaving the decal on the right spot without handling it. The wetted surface allowed fine tuning the placement. 3. I used a wet paper towel to smooth out the decal and press it into the texture of the wood. 4. I slightly dampened a second paper towel and gently blotted the decal to remove excess water drops. Be careful with this step. The paper towel must be moist enough not to lift the decal. The decal has a satin finish that is visible compared to the flat finish of the latex wash on the wood. I would say it is noticeable from certain angles but not so much that it distracts. I will figure out what to do about it over the winter and will provide an update. Overall I highly recommend this product. It provided an attractive solution to giving my project a lighthearted header and should last for years to come.

After reading some of the other reviews I was very skeptical but thought, "What that heck." Anyway, I needed to reproduce some decals for a vintage model rocket. The decals that came with the rocket were 30 years old and unusable. I scanned the old decals and printed them on this clear decal paper using an HP Color LaserJet M553. The decal paper fed without issues and printed cleanly. I used an Exacto knife to cut out the decals and then installed them onto my rocket. I placed each decal in a warm bowl of water for about a minute and then slid each decal off of the backer paper onto the rocket. I was able to easily slide them into perfect position before blotting them with a dish towel while they dried. The installed easily and cleanly and conformed to the details of the rocket. The texture that you see in the pictures is the texture from the tail fins and body tube. These decals conformed into the grain of the balsa wood used in the tail fins. Overall, I would purchase these again. The worked perfectly. 10/10.

I want to mention first: If you're putting this on anything but a WHITE painted/background, the colors WILL NOT SHOW UP APPROPRIATELY. You have to know that toner and ink are meant to be put on white paper, which means they will show up *VERY* transparent on this decal paper. THIS IS NO REFLECTION ON THE PAPER ITSELF! It's of very high quality. The actual waterslide decal part of the sheet is thin and very nice for scale models (which was my use for it). It only had to be in the water for a few seconds before it came loose and was ready to be applied. It holds up very well to using a hobby knife to reposition it (because they never go on exactly where you want) and is pretty tough all around. I used MicroSol and MicroSet on the decal after application, which it took quite well and melted nicely into every crack and crevice of the model. Even though this is a LASER decal sheet, it's still a good idea to spray a nice layer of clear acrylic varnish over the top since it *is* going into water. To use a decal sheet like this on something painted other than white, you'll need to either use white and cut out exactly along the decal, or find a toner cartridge that prints white. You'll then have to print the decal in white, then put the paper back in and then print over that with color. I'm waiting for my white toner cartridge to see how effective this is. If I can get that to work correctly I will 100% be using this decal paper from now on.

What a fun item to have! I have not used this in my laser printer yet, but I made some Halloween decals of my own for my nails on the CLEAR laser printer decal waterslide paper. It worked great! This was a first try for me, so there's a learning curve. Here's how I did it, if you're interested. Hope this helps! I cut off a small piece, painted some cheerful Halloween ghosts on it, (based on something found online) with acrylic paint, and let dry. I sealed it with clear nail polish and let dry. I trimmed it closely. Next time, I will not cut between the ghosts as spacing was compromised when I applied it. This was my fault, not the paper's. I only had to put the tiny decal in water for a few seconds, then it was ready start sliding off the paper with pressure applied. If you watch the backing, you can readily see when it's all wet. Positioning carefully, slide it directly off the backing paper onto your dry prepped nail (basecoat & color) and press firmly into place. I used tweezers to assist with this. Let dry and embelish around the decal if desired (I did with dotted stars). Let dry. Topcoat with clear polish (fyi: none of my polishes are gel.) I needed to create my own because I can directly paint onto my left hand, but not my right. With my short fingernails, this lets my creativity fly! When I have time, I'll start collecting little sketches to print that could be applied with just the black line drawing, or I could print, paint, and then apply them. (My laser printer only prints in black.) This is going to be fun to use! Now I'm thinking about embellishing - even monogramming - stainless steel mugs, suitcases, candles...

Das beste Papier für Kerzentattoos,die ich bisher getestet habe und ich bleibe dabei Hatte mich zwar in der grösse vertan, Letter Format,statt DIN a 4, aber dann druck ich halt in US Letter Format, passt alles bestens

good product easy to use. but wrongly advertised as being dishwasher safe and to make things worse there is no way to contact the seller. not impressed.....

Simple to use and good quality. On wood, needs to be sealed for edges to stay or wood needs to be sanded and completely flush.
