Bugalugs Antiseptic Eye Drops for Pets - 200ML

This is absolutely excellent stuff - I would never be without it in the house now it keeps my puppies eyes clean and clear of getting blocked - the breed has hair growing over the eyes. I do trim very slightly and very gently but it is an on going issue with the breed and this is fantastic and price competitive - vets bills are just horrendous these days. I’ve found this company offer a range of products and I would have confidence in trying any of them. The nozzle makes it so easy to apply too which is a huge advantage when dealing with this sensitive area.

Our chihuahua is 14, she is blind in one eye, her good eye which she relies on had a nasty infection. It was treated with antibiotics from our vet. We were told that she probably wasn’t going to keep her vision in that eye as the infection was quite nasty. Once the antibiotics and eye drops from our vet had finished, she still couldn’t see. We wanted to keep her eyes clean so we figured we would look online for eye wash to keep her eyes clean to prevent further infections. When this arrived her eye was still weeping, which caused an awful tear stain. As instructed on the bottle, we cleaned her eyes a minimum of three times a day. As it’s a dual product we cleaned the outer area with it and used it as an eye drop before and after cleaning to flush the eyes. Her blind eye she suffered with dry eye ( common for the breed ) We weren’t prepared for this product to work as well as it did! A week after rinsing and dropping into her poorly eye we noticed she wasn’t bumping into things as much, she was also more confident. Then we noticed that she was actually walking round things, she was gaining vision back in that eye!! She now has most of the vision back in that eye, she’s skipping ( her little way of joyfully going about her business ) around the house again. Tail wagging and back to her happy self. The watery eye has stopped also which is great. The blind eye the white colouration on the eye itself has definitely reduced. I really do wish we would have taken photos the day this product arrived then 10 days later, it has been an absolute god send! We have decided that we will continue with the routine of cleaning her eyes and applying the drops 3 times a day. If we can prevent another infection it’s so worth it, Also, if we can keep her eyes as healthy as they currently are it’s a must, hopefully she won’t completely lose her sight. The tear stains have also been reducing, now it’s just a slight staining, before using it was that awful reddish brown, they truly did look awful before. This is a product we will keep on hand at all times, it’s a must have for the grooming kit as well as first aid kit. I wish we’d have found this for our French bulldog, it would have been so useful for her also. If you have breeds that have more pronounced eyes, or dogs that love to investigation in grass and bushes. Or simply like to keep their eyes clean, this is definitely a product you should have on hand. I cannot put into words what a huge difference this made getting on top of her eye issue. It really made all the difference, as the antibiotics were nearing the end of the course, they eye was still struggling to heal. I have no doubt this eye rinse/drops helped to clear up any last infection left. It does have a slight ammonia smell to it, similar to the smell after visiting the swimming baths, a bit like Milton. Don’t be put off by the smell, it really is as good as it claims. We wouldn't be without this now. Bonus, it’s tested on people not animals, if it’s safe for us it’s safe for them. Edit: we use this daily, we wouldn’t be without it. We are on our second bottle. It really has been a godsend for our precious Totti, it’s given her - her independence back by being able to see enough to move freely without face planting too much into things. Her eyes are brighter, healthier and a lot cleaner. If you have light faced dogs prone to tear stains do give this a try. If you are like us and find tear stains on dogs unsightly, try adding this to the daily grooming routine. Take the few minutes a few times a day to keep their eyes healthy, clean and stain greatly reduced if not free. Don’t expect to see results within two or three days, if you stick to the regular routine you will see improvement more and more. Now, Totti barely has any staining whatsoever, with healthier cleaner eyes, what’s not to love 💕

Cleared up my shihtzu eye infection keep using it daily to keep his eyes clear as he is prone to infection. Found it easier to apply on cotton wool balls or a shringe to target eyes better

Great product , My spaniel is always getting grit and stuff in his eyes which causes irritation, but a couple of drops in each eye works a treat , clears the irritation up quickly.

I have 2 shitzu dogs my boy blue has had liquid and gunk come out his eye for a while now I was cleaning his eyes up to 5 times a day but the gunk and smell only got worse. I used this product twice yesterday and once today and I honestly cannot believe the difference already. His eyes are alot less gunky and the smell is nearly away I would definitely recommend this product 👌
