Do you think it is a durable small tool bag for long lasting use?

Yes, it is a durable bag. However, long and durable are relative. I use it to hold my multimeter. I don't use it every day but it is a good bag for holding small tools.

According to Amazon the dimensions are 9x4x1.7" - by my guesstimate that makes the capacity approximately one liter. It is totally open on the inside so, no, I don't believe it was designed to hold anything specific. We use ours to hold a few tools we carry inside our motorhome so we don't need to go outside every time we need a scissor, screwdriver, penlight or pliers and it is certainly sturdy enough for our use.
