Top Shelf Kentucky Bourbon Essence Flavours 2.25L

This stuff is great. I quit drinking a couple of years ago, but only discovered non-alcoholic spirits about a month ago. I mix about a finger of Master of Mixes Old Fashioned mix, two fingers of Clean-co clean non-alcoholic whiskey, just a dash or so of this Bourbon flavoring, and the rest of the glass with ginger ale. I feel like I am drinking a real whiskey and ginger ale. Try it. Yes, the bottle is very small, but the flavoring is so potent that you only need a few drops per drink. I probably make about 10-12 mocktails per bottle.

I think this is intended to be used in home distilling, but it makes a pretty decent mocktail. I wish the bottle was bigger - I'll probably get 3-4 mocktails out of the bottle.

Packs a flavorful punch! I’ve no idea what actual bourbon tastes like, but using this in some homemade eggnog transformed it from being just sweet cream to a melt-in-the-mouth slightly fruity and “oh, this is it!!” flavor. This non-alcoholic spirit truly boasted a smooth and mature difference that was leaps and bounds beyond what the nog tasted like without it! Sure surprised me! Bless~!🙏✨👏

The best part of these is they come in a resealable bottle, which for some weird reason no other brands do. Also love that there are marks at one-thirds on the bottle so you don't have to measure or guess. Brilliant. The bad news is this doesn't taste very good. The other brands aren't spot-on bourbon flavor by any means but they are considerably better than this one. For reference, I purchased a 750ml (regular sized bottle) of unaged White Whiskey from a local distillery that uses a wheat mash (think Maker's, Weller's, etc.) instead of rye & poured that into my mini oak aging barrel to age for a couple of weeks. Once it got to the color & woody flavor I liked, I used 1/3 of a bottle of this essence as directed. Tasted right away & not great. Let sit for a couple more weeks & still not very good neat or on ice. Definitely still drinkable in a mixed cocktail (throw some cola in it or make a decent old fashioned) but still not great. Will keep experimenting with other brands.

A decent substitute. You set the proof this sets the flavor. 50ml will make 3 5ths.

It wasn’t what I was hoping. It just taste like an extract.

I am still working on get the ratio correct on this porduct for mocktails and that is why I gave it a 3. The tequila however is spot on and easier to measure.

GARBAGE - deceiving product, It's a 50ml bottle of 'flavouring' for $37 dollars....GARBAGE

If you are going to just mix with coke its passable but not good. If you drink your bourbon neat or with ice it can't really be compared to any bourbon I've drunk, it just changes the colour of your natural spirit. So my personal opinion is to wait for wild turkey to be on special offer, buy loads and enjoy the real thing.
