Excellent product. Very helpful when traveling, the hard case and protective liner. The wells are quite large so you can hold a good amount of the color you're trying to make. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

This is NOT lightweight, but if you're a watercolor artist who prefers to use a ceramic mixing palette, this is an excellent option, and comes in a fabulously sturdy tin with very good quality foam padding to protect the palette while traveling. This is my new favorite travel painting palette!

This ceramic palette is nice, thick ceramic. Your paint won't bead up when mixing in this palette. It's a shame it comes in an inferior tin box. There is black foam around the palette on four sides, but none on the top or bottom. The listing says the box is robust, but the box I received had dents on the top and bottom. It also says it is airtight, which it is definitely not. A piece of white cardstock came in the box with the suppliers name on it. At first I thought it was a swatch sheet, but it isn't watercolor paper so it serves no purpose. As I said, the ceramic palette is very nice, and if you want to carry it with you, this box might suffice if your paints are dry between uses. Considering it's weight, mine will have a place in my studio to be used when I want limited or certain colors to work with.
