***First & foremost - this is NOT A FREE PRODUCT REVIEW (I’d join whatever that is willingly though lol) Review: This is best ice pack designed to use on lumbar (lower back) I've ever used & with my myriad of spinal issues, I’ve tried many! The design is very creative, yet effective. The cold transfers very well (not recommended to wear more than 20mins at a time, can use every 2-4hrs, do NOT out on bare skin) the entire time I am using it, unlike many others. I am female, always considered “underweight”, yet this fits great. My waist is 26”. The Velcro is good & the additional black straps are for reinforcement. Meaning - it stays put. Yes, it is a bit heavy, but once on, I don’t even notice the weight. So I’d consider it comfortable. If you’re looking for ive therapy for lower back pain, this is your guy. Absolutely worth the reasonable price. This did not disappoint! I included many pictures. I showed the design with the little cubes, which is the side that goes against the hurting area. The blue side is the outer side & the black straps are additional for reinforcement, so it is snug & stays put. I included a picture of me wearing it over my pj top, to show it works for smaller framed people. I also included the “additions” - a user manual & a “ziplock” bag to use when you put it in the freezer. The bag prevents frost forming on the ice pack & also any fridge smells…essentially it keeps it fresh lol. Why it’s good to trust me: I had my second thoracic/lumbar surgery (T10-Pelvis) March 3, 2026 with a very credible neurosurgeon through UofM. An extremely complex, multi-staged, revision, extension (L4-S1, anchored to my pelvis), 3 cages, decompression caused by severe spinal stenosis, correction of “Flatback” syndrome, etc, etc. I had severe scoliosis (diagnosed at 11 in 1995), wore many back braces, used heat & ice therapy for a long time. I’ve experienced back pain since 9/10 & severe leg pain (not regular “growing pains”) since 5/6. I am unfortunately no stranger to back pain. Especially lower back pain. If you are wanting to try ice for your back pain, this is HONESTLY the best I’ve found! Best of luck to you all. I wish none of us needed things like this!

Nice fit and quality material

I have multiple sclerosis and heat is one of my main triggers; I have a LOT of ice packs and cooling therapy items. This one has very quickly become my favorite. I'm having a lot of pain in my back and leg recently due to radiculopathy, and this pack is amazing for that, as well. It froze quickly. It is very flexible even when fully frozen and conforms well. It is comfortable when in place, delivering great cold therapy without being "poky" or stiff. I like the two different surfaces, as well. I was very dubious about it staying cold so I deliberately left it out of the freezer to see how well it did. I put it on my back for 20 minutes, then on the back of my neck for 20 minutes, and let it sit on the table for an hour. Any condensation was absorbed by the padding and when I picked it back up, it was indeed still cold enough for another treatment. The straps are the only reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5. I really, really wish both straps were of the longer length instead of one being short and one long. I can't strap it around myself for my back like it shows in the pictures. Granted, I am indeed larger than the model, but not exorbitantly so. It's a great ice pack, and I say that as someone who buys and uses a lot of them. In fact, it's apparently become a family favorite. I had to retrieve it from my eldest teen recently and now my husband is stealing it for HIS back! Maybe I need to order a few more; they're very reasonable at under $20 currently.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Works perfectly for its design. Having the gel packs built in gloves an even distribution of cold over the lower lumbar region. Cold works much better for lower back pain, especially nerve associated pain, than heat. Heat can actually make the pain much worse.

Its perfect!

I love this ice pack. It fits perfectly and covers my back where I need it to. It stays cold for a long time. I keep it on over my shirt for 30 minutes at a time. It still has plenty of cold left in it when I take it off. This is the best one I’ve ever had.
