Burlap & Barrel Single Origin Spices Glass Jar

Good ol’ cinnamon, nothing much to say. The only thing I’d like to share is that it doesn’t come with a sifter top/sprinkle plastic top, so when you use it you’ll need to use a small measuring spoon every time. You can’t just sprinkle from the jar as it’s just an open container. Hope that makes sense and helps based on your needs and how you use it. Personally, I take almost all of the plastic sifters off all my spice jars but sometimes It’d be nice to just take off the cap and sprinkle cinnamon all over what I’m consuming instead of having to pour some on the cap or use a measuring spoon. But eh, it’s not that deep and so I’m giving it full stars.

I have liked and used this brand of Cinnamon 2 times before. It is more expensive than common store brands, but I like the flavor of it. When it was time to reorder, I accidently bought two different brands of cinnamon. The other "organic" name brand and this one. Equally priced, I decided to compare taste, thinking they must both be the same, since they are "higher" quality. I was surprised to find the taste of Burlap & Barrel FAR exceeded the taste of the other brand. Now I am excited to try ALL of their spices. As a side note, the extra work involved with responsibly bringing this product to our table is worth every penny. We should never sell ourselves short of something truly worth while.

This Royal Cinnamon is unlike any other—I use a lot of Cinnamon and like trying out different ones. This one is intensely sweet, spicy, and aromatic. The Vietnamese cinnamon has a bold flavor that transforms baked goods, coffee, and savory dishes into something extraordinary.

This cinnamon is delicious. Careful though, the shaker top has huge holes, you need to be careful that you don’t shake out too much. In my research on spices, this brand was listed as very safe. (Unbeknownst to me it seems there are lots of heavy metals. In many spices).
