tl;dr This capture card does what it says and it does GREAT! This capture card required hardly any setup at all, it's almost enough for me to say that it's "plug-and-play". The most that you have to do, or at least what I did, was create a Video Capture Device in ":Sources", set up a few options in OBS Studio, and I was ready to play. Audio quality sounds just like how it should with no side effects at all, and the video looks great as well. I ended up using this capture card at 1080p60 and as I expected it performs at that resolution & framerate beautifully. Also the addition of a USB-C to USB-A adapter on the cable itself makes connectivity with ports SO much better since a lot of my devices don't have USB-C, but they sure have USB 3.0 ports. Anyways, I've attached a video of what you'll expect from this capture card starting from boot up to just playing on a device such as a Switch 2. I highly recommend this capture card, especially since I got it on sale for Prime Day.

I was looking into buying a new webcam for streaming, but I already had a good camcorder and I was wondering if I could just use that. I learned that I needed a capture card and saw that this one was affordable and just what I needed. Setup was easy and OBS detected it immediately upon plugging it in. Video quality was fantastic. You'll need to disable buffering or else there's an audio delay, and it might be a bit CPU intensive. After running it for over an hour it was only slightly warm to the touch, so it dissipated heat well. All in all it was just what I needed for my purposes, and it works as advertised. UGREEN is one of my go-to brands for reasonably priced adapters, etc., and this didn't disappoint. I tried and have looked a more expensive alternatives to get the HDMI output of my various cameras into my PC. I have Canon and while you can use a USB connection, the HDMI is much high quality with an adapter. And this worked exactly as advertised, and is plug and play, my Zoom and other software recognized the input.

Using with their usb C to hdmi adapter for my DJI RC 2 controller. Works well and compatible with a MacBook Pro M4. Happy with both products and its ease of use.

I would give it a 4.5 if I could. I bought this to display my nintendo switch onto my laptop with OBS. Super easy to set up, just followed a tutorial video. My only critique is the slight latency (although that may be the fault of OBS and not the capture card), but it wasn’t a big issue. I quickly got used to the delay and it became negligible after a few minutes. I played for about an hour with no issues.

This capture card device is absolutely astounding to me! I cannot believe that such a small form factor could provide such quality video capture and suits the needs for my use. For me, I utilize this as a way of testing video output of devices, as I work in the AV industry. For many years, I have gone through a multitude of monitors, only to have them wind up being broken due to storage, moving equipment around, and simply forgetting that bag in the corner is the one with the monitor in it. Another nifty thing is the small form factor, as I store this in the same pockets I do for my USB to Ethernet dongles. I have tested this out utilizing the Camera app in Microsoft and OBS Studio and it works wonderfully. Now that I have a taste of what this dongle can do, I am looking forward to setting up streams and making content as well.

I have a PTZ camera which i use for meetings and livestream. I have a budget laptop which is already using the HDMI port and doesn't have another video port, so, i use this to get video from the camera into the laptop using the C or A port. Obviously going HDMI would be best, but even going through this adapter into the C port i'm getting very decent 1080p signal. There is some latency but it's not a deal breaker. Video quality is exactly as you'd expect, which i would call excellent for what it is. This worked for me and well worth the money paid!

What a hunker of junk. The only "instructions" shipped with product are how to plug it into your computer. Really?? You need instructions on how to plug in a USB but no instructions on how to get this hunker of junk recognized by any media app? Wouldn't work with two of the leading media apps. No way to configure this hunker of junk. Don't waste your time or money. Buy something else.

Pris pour utilisation d'un metaquest et le transfert est très bon. Belle image. Malheureusement il n'y a pas un connecteur usbc supplémentaire pour charger l'appareil.

edit: I ordered a Google TV Streamer, so kept this VCC to try on that device, and it works perfectly, but not at all on my firestick - weird. So, changing from 1 to 5 stars, as the issue seems to be with the firestick, not the capture card. Displays the UGreen Logo OK, but then nothing. Same on 2 laptops. My $4 Temu one works OK, but this $40 UGreen one is now in the bin, so much for paying for quality!!

Perfect adaptor to connect GoPro Hero 7 and use it as a Webcam. UGREEN is my favorite brand for this type of accessories.
