Really impressed.
Good powerful fire. Warms my room up very quickly. I know this winter hasn't been the coldest but have never had it on full power once. Would recommend.

Ignition system failure
See the review by Raz . The fire itself is very warm but can't be relied upon . I bought mine about 5 years ago and the ignition fault has recurred twice in the last 12 months. Cost was £140 labour and parts.

Good fire but do not like it's very awkward to light up & you can't light it with a lighting stick as it has a battery to light it & no gas comes through without the ignition? ?

Very High Annual Maintenance Cost
Great heat output and efficient. Should save on gas bill BUT - if you do not replace the ‘Oxy-Pilot’ electronic safety ignition system EVERY YEAR (cost about £35 for part and gas engineer labour costs - so well over £100) the fire will simply not come on, no gas to burner, no way around it. Bit of a rip-off if that is included in running costs.
