The King Oscar Mackerel in Sweet Thai Chili Sauce was a wonderful addition to my pantry. The mackerel was firm and savory. There was a distinct lack of fishy smell which would make it a great starting tin for people who may be on the fence about tinned fish. The real star of the show, however, is the sauce. It's sweet and delicious. Not very spicy so mileage may vary for people looking for heat. The sauce does complement the protein exceptionally well though. Make a batch of steamed rice and throw this on there for a quick lunch/dinner and you'd be surprised how tasty it will turn out.

Tastiest mackerel around

I bought this since they didn't have the sample pack in stock, like in forever... This flavor and Thai Chili is my go too. I tried all of them, don't really care for the Jalapeno and Mediterranean ones. And I love Jalapeno flavored anything.. but something just didn't hit right with those 2 other flavors. For a small can, this has a great amount of protein and it's in Olive oil, which is good for you. Good price for the 12 pack. Great for a light healthy lunch, goes good with mixed greens.
