do the white/blue ones have tinted lens?

It would appear so for this pair. The pink/purple ones do not have tinting

Will these be suitable for a 10 y/o boy on a ymca swim team who practices and swims often/daily?

Yes!! My grandson is 10 and swims with them daily!

Will the ones with tinted lenses block out the sun pretty well, or should I aim for another goggle with darker lenses?

My son has these goggles. He swims competitively and some of his meets are outside. He says they block the sun very well. They have been one of the best pair of goggles we have bought.
