I bought these as gifts for my coworkers. Many of them came up to me afterwards and talked about how they had pens like that as kids and loved them. I didn't test all of them before gifting, but the handful I did test all worked perfectly. Fun gift and a great value. EDIT: Close to a month later, and the two I have are still going strong. EDIT #2: I loved these pens so much that I bought a second set, since I'm terrible at losing pens. I also like to give them away when people compliment my pen. Two sets and they've worked great for me. EDIT #3: I'm coming back to purchase these pens for the 5th time! I love giving them away, using them as party favors, and donating them to various places. I've never had a problem with the quality and they seem pretty durable to me. I've had a couple that have been floating around my purse for a couple of years and they still work! The top part sometimes comes off, but that doesn't affect how they work.

Remember when having a multi-colored pen made you feel like royalty in elementary school? Well, now I’m a grown adult with anxiety and bills — but these pens still make me feel like royalty. Smooth ink, bright colors, and they don’t jam like the cheap ones that pretend they can handle six colors but buckle under pressure like my last relationship.

I bought these for my prize box at school. The kids like them and they seem to last well and are pretty sturdy. There have been a few that have colors that don't work but it hasn't been a major problem. They write well and it is easy to switch between colors. They do come apart easily, so if you have kids that are curious and take them apart, it isn't easy to get them back together so it makes them useless. Just a fair warning.

They work well enough for kids to use. Handed them out to the neighbors hood kids playing with mine. They had a blast. For the price, very much worth it. Don’t expect some executive pen, it’s clearly a kid product and does its job. I wouldn’t stake my career on it being the most dependable pen. The ink worked fine and hasn’t dried out, as of yet. It’s durable enough to last some drops. It does jam like all these do when retracting. That’s pretty much the M.O. for these pens though.

These pens are alright, the ink works well and I like the different colors to mark different things but it’s quite flmisy, also the top is easily undone.

Kids love these pens! There are so many colors! Works well, just press one of the colors down slightly and the color that was pressed down snaps back up. Writes smoothly. Not much grip but that doesn’t prevent my kids from using them. Easy to use! Would buy again.

Best bang for your buck. Out of 22, only 3 pens had mildly spotty inks in 1 or 2 of the colors but did not significantly impair the function of the pen, and only 2 pens got mildly jammed up when switching colors and again did not significantly impair the function of the pen. Overall, the pens switch colors smoothly and easily, and the inks write smooth and vivid. I purchased these for use in nursing school clinicals and was expecting to have to throw out a handful due to poor quality, but I didn't have to throw out any! The 3 that had mildly spotty inks I just gave to my kids, who were ecstatic to get a cool new pen LOL the rest (including the 2 that get a smidge jammed sometimes) are good to use for my clinicals. I don't expect them to last forever since they are cheap, but I will definitely be buying again when the inks run out.

From some of the reviews I read that not all the pens worked. All of ours did and I was very pleased with the pens.
