Simple Printer That Works
I’ve bought a lot of printers over the years—both cheap ones and more expensive models. The cheap printers never work quite right, and the more expensive ones are just more expensive without being noticeably better. This HP printer hits the sweet spot. It was easy to set up, works the way it’s supposed to, and doesn’t make printing feel like a technical event every single time. One of my favorite features is the app—I have it on my phone and can print directly from my phone, which is honestly crazy good and incredibly convenient. It connects reliably, prints cleanly, and does exactly what you expect a printer to do. If you’re tired of wasting money on printers that are either unreliable or overpriced, this one is a solid choice. Very happy with this purchase.

Rock solid wireless printing, FINALLY!
This printer has been a great upgrade for my home office. The wireless connection is excellent—I’m able to print seamlessly from all of my devices, including my iPhone, Windows PC and laptop, Mac Mini, and MacBook Air. Setup was straightforward, and once connected, it just works. No dropped connections, no re-adding the printer, and no headaches switching between devices. Print quality is sharp and professional for both color and black-and-white documents, and duplex printing works smoothly. The automatic document feeder is a big time-saver for scanning and copying multi-page documents, which I use often. The printer is fast, quiet, and feels well-built. I also appreciate how well it integrates with mobile printing—being able to send a document from my phone and have it print immediately is incredibly convenient. Overall, this is a reliable, versatile all-in-one printer that handles a mixed Apple and Windows environment with ease. Highly recommended for a home office setup with multiple devices.

It's better than its cheaper predecessor.
Got it to work after awhile. The menu screen is small and not well lighted and icons can be confusing. Paper jams aren't as easy to fix and one reason is it's not immediately known there is a paper jam. However, when printer refuses to work, it's pretty easy to unjam. After an electric blackout from hurricane, it does go back to proper settings without much trouble. Inks are small but easy to put in. Don't last long. Color Printing pictures from camera or photos is not realistic.

Installing the software can be a problem
I have owned personal computers and printers since 1986. I have occasionally had problems with the mechanism of different models of either dot matrix, laser, or ink jet printers. With all printers, I know to expect those issues and usually can figure out how to fix them. When I was considering this printer, I read a review about how easy it was to install the software this printer has, HP Smart. It affected slightly my decision to buy this printer. I only wish my experience was as good. I found the software neither easy to use nor the slightest bit intuitive. You download the app from the MS store and download it from there. I almost sent this printer back because I could not get the software loaded. I worked for almost six hours yesterday to get the software to download. I restarted my computer several times, hoping to clear the problem. I even decided to do something I hate doing, contact their technical support team. But, I was in the queue for their recommended chat option over four hours, but nobody turned up. Finally, I just gave it up. Tomorrow was another day. This morning, I finally managed to download HP Smart app. Once the app downloaded, it took over an hour for my printer to recognize my network and set up the communication. My recommendation, if you decide to buy this printer, is when you open the top of the printer to install the tiny printer cartridges that come with the printer, you note the white label inside. There is an 8-digit PIN you are going to need during your software setup. Write that number or take a photo of it because you cannot open that cover while the printer is on. Another issue is when HP Smart asks for your wifi's password, cut and paste will not work. You must fat-finger the password into the designated space. One other thing you might want to consider is the "free trial" of their ink supply program. If you select HP+, you are automatically enrolled in $7.99 a month after two "free" months. If you select to participate in that program, it amounts to about $96 a year. To stop the program, you must notify HP you are not interested. Whether it is beneficial or not depends on how much you print and what the conditions are for its use. I am not advocating or condemning the program. But since I only print about 250 sheets per month, I am skeptical of its value to me personally.

Prints & scans GREAT! Paper tray closes up neatly and easy to assemble!
I'm so glad I took a chance on this. I was nervous about the set up after reading reviews. I'm so glad I went with the ppl that took time to dispute the challenges of set up. I'm 5o+-ish and not tech savvy. This was the easiest process ever!! NOT at all intimidating! It's also an excellent product! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Definitely worth the price. For ppl that have tiny spaces I also purchased a MARTY Printer Stand. Also a 5 star review! Great purchases -Liz Morehouse

Reliable All-in-One Printer for Home Use
This printer has been a great upgrade for my home setup. Setup was straightforward and connecting it to WiFi was quick. Printing is fast, the text is sharp, and color prints look really good for everyday use. I like that it can print, scan, and copy without taking up too much space. The touchscreen is easy to navigate and the HP app makes it simple to print from my phone or laptop. It has been dependable so far with no issues or paper jams. Overall, it does exactly what I need and feels like a solid value for the price.

Very easy install, quick printing
I chose this model due to the print times. The quality isn’t picture sharp, but it also isn’t supposed to be which also meets my needs. The price also was a deciding factor. It was cheaper to buy a whole new printer, extra paper, and an entire backup set of cartridges than replace the ink on an older hp model I have. The WiFi connection for air printing is also great and I had had no issues so far. I’d recommend

Printer is good but not great!!!
Usually, I do not write reviews, but after reading the reviews, I think it’s important to do this. The printers is good quality but cheaply made. The cord falls provide falls out so if you a cord from a HP printer, keep it !!! It will save you a heartache. It does print 8 1/2 x 11 little slow but it does work, quality is good -not excellent set up so so had some connection problems but overall I’m OK with it. For the price it’s probably worth it (?) you decide.
