What is the minimum ceiling height that I will need to mount this bag?

With hook attachments and a spring which I recommend 8.5 feet, I have the bag hanging at 9" and I move it up or down by adding or taking off a carribiner for the desired affect. I recommend 9 ft or higher unless u like ur bag to alway be close to the floor
