Vitamix is the best
I haven't used as yet, but I love all their products. I can't wait to use it, my last vitamix I owned it over 10 years and it still works. Passed it down to my daughter, just wanted a blender processor all in one. Yes I would say for the price always get a warranty on anything. Truthly you may not need 1 but its always a safe thing to have.

If you purée a lot of foods this is a must. The price tag will punch you but it’s worth it. Loud while running.

Blender is excellent, blender is disappointing so far
The blender works great. I use it every day. The food processor does not work like I expected. I thought it was going to be easy to use but its so finicky that I rarely use it. It is too much trouble to have to fiddle with it over and over until it finally runs. If I manage to get it to work. I keep getting the warning icon on the screen which apparently means all the pieces are not perfectly attached. I thought it was just me until a friend that has worked in restaurants for years and should have been able to use it easily also ran into the same issue. He recommended I contact Vitamix.
