iFI Audio iDefender + CA Hum Noise Reduction Accessory

10MHz OCXOマスタークロックとDDCと併用。値段も安いし期待していなかったが音は良くなった。 PCを使用する限りiDifenderとiSilencerは外せない。これを取り付けると、PCがスリープする度にDDCとの接続が切断されてしまうのが面倒だが、外す気になれないくらいの効果はある。

たぶんノイズ対策の効果はあると思いますが、良くいえば柔らかい音、悪くいえば少しこもった音になります。

スマホのC-TYPEメスに接続するため、C-TYPEオス-メス接続がamazonに残り後１個と表示されていたので購入に進んだのですが、別のC-TYPEオス-A-TYPEメスを選んだことに勝手に置き換わりました。希望製品が選べなかったのが残念ですが、何とか接続できて、ホワイトノイズが激減しましたので満足しています。

It works, I had a ground loop issue on my USB ports via my MB, and now its silent, Little to no noise coming from my monitors, The only noise is just some hiss from my monitors themselves. This adaptor will only work if your USB port has any group loop issues. Best way to find out is plug your audio interface/Speakers/Headphones in a different laptop with the power plugged in, If you still hear buzz with you or device and if you cant hear anything you have ground loop may be via your USB port. If you hear any noise through your audio interface/Speakers/Headphones, You have a power ground loop problem, If your audio interface/Speakers/Headphones don't make any noise with the power plugged in your laptop you have ground loop on your USBs and this product should fix it Finally, make sure to use the 5v input on the adaptor or it will not work, You don't need to buy the external PSU from the company, Just use a USB charger and make sure its 5v dc @ 2A.

Should remove the computer rumble from speakers, but doesn’t work as promised. Tested with several setups, cables and power outlets scenarios. Sadly 60 euro’s wasted:(

These do not work. Dont waste your money. The best solution I found, which actually solved my usb noise issues was to not use Usb. Instead I found the Dante Audio over ethernet planet 22x. Works a dream on Windows. Not for linux unfortunately. Not sure if works on Mac. Good luck!

Ho una interfaccia audio Steinberg UR22 MKII collegata a un mixer Yamaha. Entrambe svolgono bene il loro lavoro a parte il problema dei rumori introdotti dal collegamento USB con il computer. Ho comprato questo prodotto "iFi Defender+", dopo averne provato uno più economico, che non ha funzionato. Ero sicuro che con questo, data la notevole differenza di prezzo, avrei risolto il problema. Invece siamo punto e a capo. (Non sempre come spendi mangi) Questo "Defender" semplicemente non elimina i disturbi introdotti con il collegamento USB all'impianto Audio. I disturbi vengono solo leggermente attenuati. Segno che di separazione galvanica non se ne parla nemmeno. Ho fatto qualche misura con un tester e le due masse (Ingresso/uscita) presentano un bassa resistenza fra loro anche se non completamente collegate. Nelle istruzioni c'è scritto che il sistema è in grado di rilevare automaticamente i "Ground Loop" e di eliminarli. Ora scusate, ma cosa c'è da rilevare se sappiamo benissimo che il problema dei disturbi è legato unicamente al contatto galvanico fra il "Ground" USB e quello audio. Tutto quello che c'è da fare è separare (tagliare) questo contatto e realizzare un circuito USB adeguato. Mi sembra che questo particolare sia sfuggito ai progettisti di questo prodotto. Ne ho avuto la prova inserendo fra l'uscita dello Steinberg UR22 MKII e l' ingresso del mixer un "DI Box". Tenendo gli switch su "Ground Lift" I disturbi sono improvvisamente spariti. Quandi dico "spariti" intendo "non cisono più". Non si sente nemmeno uno "spiffero". Non mi accontento di una attenuazione. Il tutto suona benissimo ("DI Box" di qualità!). Certamente avrei preferito avere la separazione galvanica sul lato USB, per non avere dei trasformatori nella catena audio, ma sembra che allo stato attuale delle mie conoscenze (e portafoglio) non c'è niente che funzioni a dovere. Con un "DI Box" il problema dei disturbi viene totalmente risolto. Se qualcuno ha trovato un prodotto che a costi ragionevoli faccia il suo lavoro per favore me lo faccia sapere. Grazie.

I couldn't quite believe it at first, but after plugging it into my seperate power unit (I just used a powered USB dock plug) it worked perfectly! All my signal noise gone! Such a relief. Can get on with making tunes on my new PC now, yesss. Worth noting however, that without the seperate power unit the device had no effect. So make sure you get the seperate power unit iFi sell, or get your own fairly decent one (for a bit cheaper) If you're having ground loop issues with a new desktop, this is the product for you. So pleased with it
