YES. There is a speed stamp option in settings.

If stamps are set to OFF then it will not stamp speed on video.

Will this come out built with super capacitor instead of lithium battery?

Hey, Michael. Not sure if you’re still in the market for this or not, but they just released a new version for this in late-May of 2023 that does have a super capacitor instead of the lithium battery (which I’m super thankful for and is a huge selling point at least for me).

Hi, your novatek nt96660 processor and ov4689 sensor is not capable of 4k; why do you advertise it as such?

They now use the Sony IMX335. It is 5 MP.  Still not 8 MP.   But that does give you a recommended recording size of 2592 x 1944 per the sony datasheet.  4K is 3840x2160.  That is 2/3 the resolution on width (2592/3840)  and 90% the height (1944/2160).  Seems to me with mild interpolation that you would get essentially 4K resolution vertically.  From the top of hood to the sun is a narrow angle so that would be PLENTY.  SADLY, the 150 degrees left to right is where you need the extra resolution!!!  1080P(rogressive) is 1920 Horizontal pixels or 12.8 pixels/degree for 150 deg, this cam is 2592 Horizontal pixels or 17.28 pixels/degree and 4K is 3840 Horizontal pixels or 25.6 pixels/degree.

That is a lot of interpolation required because of the wide angle.   But if the image processor is a good one, it will use the physical closeness of the Vertical samples and complex interpolation techniques to not only map into 4K 3840x2160 well compressed mp4, but correctly adjust for spatial differences in the horizontal and vertical directions without unnecsary black bars or distortions.

WIth 64GB @ 4K = 5+ Hours of video before it starting to loop. And 128 @ 4K = 10+ Hours.
