We have three of these, best cup ever
This is the greatest cup for a baby, you have 4 options for drinking, open, valve straw, normal straw and sippy (not recommended for oral development but a good option nonetheless). Our now 9 month old confidently picks up and can drink without help using the normal straw and also likes the valve straw for less intense flow. She also loves drinking it open with the help of us. Only the valve straw and sippy cup are leak resistant but it depends how much your child turns it upside down, mine doesn't do it often enough so we just use a regular straw. It's dishwasher safe and very easy to hand wash, it also comes with a straw cleaner that you definitely need to use! It's a good size for a under 1 year old, though I'd love a slightly bigger one as she grows. We have three now so we can take one in the pram on outings and keep two at home for mealtimes. I think they're a great price for a 4 in 1 product personally! It's also been great for us as shes breastfed but has taken to it so quickly which was a worry for us, but she loves these cups!

A great little sippy cup for little independent drinkers:).
The Moonkie Silicone Sippy Cup is a thoughtfully designed training cup that strikes a strong balance between functionality and safety, earning its place as a solid choice for parents transitioning their little ones to independent drinking. Pros! 1. Safety and Material Quality:- Made entirely of food-grade silicone, this cup is BPA-free, soft, and chew-friendly—ideal for teething toddlers. Its durable and resistance to cracks or odours, even after repeated use. 2. Spill-Proof: - The leak-resistant valve works effectively for most users, minimising messes during active play. The silicone straw is gentle on gums and encourages natural sipping. 3. Easy to Clean:- Unlike complex cups with multiple parts, this one disassembles effortlessly for thorough washing. It’s dishwasher-safe, a major plus for busy households. 4. Eco-Friendly Appeal:- Reusable and free of disposable plastic, it aligns with our sustainable parenting values. 5. Ergonomic Features:- The lightweight design and easy-grip handles are great for helping small hands hold and manoeuvre the cup independently. Cons! 1. Dust and Lint Magnet:- A common gripe is the silicone exterior attracting pet hair or lint in diaper bags, requiring frequent rinsing. 2. Occasional Leakage:- It's not completely leak-free when the cup is squeezed aggressively (e.g., tossed or stepped on), though this seems rare under normal use. 3. Handle Stability:- Handles could be slightly more rigid to prevent flexing when toddlers grip them tightly. 4. Price Point: While not exorbitant, it’s pricier than some basic plastic alternatives, though most agree the quality justifies the cost. Final Verdict - The Moonkie Sippy Cup excels as a safe, user-friendly option for parents prioritising non-toxic materials and ease of use. While it isn’t entirely flawless, the silicone’s lint-prone texture and occasional leakages from the top warrant consideration, the overwhelming majority of reviews highlight its reliability and toddler-approved design. For families seeking a durable, eco-conscious cup that grows with their child (it’s adaptable for straw use as skills advance), this product is a worthwhile investment. Minor drawbacks are far outweighed by its pros, making it a recommended choice in the sippy cup market.

Baby loves it
Great quality, easy to clean and my baby loves it. She learnt how to drink with straw with this bottle, it was a very easy transition for her.

Easy to drink from but also leaks easily.
This is an attractive and great size little cup for my 7m old. Nice and smooth, He can grip it well and it isn't too heavy. He learnt to drink from it pretty quickly with the straw. 3 stars is partly because of the alternative lid/spout- which only seems to let water through if you bite it at the same time to open the tiny cut that let's water through, which seems strange to me? So he can't really use that at it's too much to understand. Also the tiny hole on top means that if it's topped on its side, it leaks... which is defo problematic if i want to leave it with baby to practice independent drinking. He has been soggy but delighted splashing water when I've come back the few times I've left him with it.

Adaptable
Great little sippy cup which is futureproofed having the spout, two types of straw, one softer than the other and two handles thus accommodating babies development. My eight month old granddaughter loves them. Very adaptable. Have now bought another set to keep here at Nanny’s.

Perfect for teaching babies to use straw
First cup baby has actually been able to use. Previously would only drink out of open cup but wanted to get them to learn how to use a straw. Tried many products to no avail. However the moonkie cup can be squeezed gently (with finger over hole on top) to help water come through. Although states not spill proof baby has thrown this multiple times and lid has not come.off yet... but it isnt secure so im sure with some force it would! Straw cannot be pulled out which is also a bonus. Also can turn into a sippy cup and open cup so win win. Great value for money
