When I travel, I always put my clothes in plastic bags (kitchen garbage bags, shopping bags etc) to keep them clean and organized in my suitcase. I also want to make sure I can easily repack things in the event that I have to open up my suitcase at the airport. I've always wanted packing cubes but wasn't sure how well they worked. I must say, I am very impressed with set of 2 packing cubes (2 different sizes). They are very well made and the zippers are extremely smooth. Although they don't vaccuum pack, they do compress very well. Without extending the bottom part, I was able to fit a weeks worth of socks (thick and thin ones) in the smaller cube, and a puffer, beanie and neck warmer in the larger cube. When I extended the bottom part, in addition to what I had already put in them, I was able to fit an additional week's worth of mens boxer shorts in the smaller cube and a pair of jeans and a sweater in the larger cube. At $49.04 for 2 packing cubes, these are rather expensive, but definitely worth it if you travel a lot.
