I absolutely love products from this brand, and this magnesium glycinate works perfectly for me. It really helps calm my nerves and supports relaxation. With other types of magnesium, I used to experience stomach pain and digestive issues, including problems with bowel movements. However, with this one I don’t notice any negative effects on my body at all. I’m very happy that I chose this specific form and this brand. Highly recommend it.

Works very well but... I've been taking before bed for about 2-3 weeks. It has caused some very vivid emotional dreams. (One night I even woke up in a cold sweat seeing a dead family member I miss dearly. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before!) I'm sleeping so deep in comparison to before so the vivid dreams I feel like aren't surprising since I'm finally getting to experience REM how I should have been for the past 5 yrs. I normally can wake at the drop of a pin but not with the help of this mag. However I take this vitamin around 9-10pm before bed and when I walk up I have crazy head fullness, brain fog, and sporadic pre migraine symptoms like pain behind my eye as well as feeling my heart beat behind my eye that hurts pretty bad. This all tends to complete disappear without the help of anything by 3-4pm. Honestly not sure if the good out weighs the side effects. I've gone down to trying every other day. Maybe I need to take during the day time? Overall the product is great, my nervous system is just dramatic but that's not new for me. Quality is great, I don't love it's a capsule. I do wish they made this supplement in a 60mg form as this could help with some of the side effects I'm experiencing.

In full disclosure, I’ve never used Thorne products before. I kind of assumed it was all marketing and no substance. But, I was taking Vitamin D and it caused me such awful muscle aches and hip pain that I had to stop taking it. I did discuss this issue with my PCP, and she told me I should add magnesium glycinate - specifically this brand. So, I did. The capsules are large but I can swallow them just fine which is a big deal because I often struggle to swallow pills. The bottle does have a slight vitamin smell but it is not overpowering and the capsules don’t smell when you take them out of the bottle. After a week, I added back the vitamin d (w/k2) and had no issues in doing so. Plus, these helped me relax enough to fall asleep, didn’t upset my tummy, don’t contain artificial coloring or dyes, and I love that there is a 3 month supply in the bottle. Given the quantity of the capsules in the bottle I found this to be a very good value. I have no doubt I’ll continue to use this product and work on swapping over my other products to Thorne brand as I run out.
