I bought this product to remove biro from a bedroom wall. The pen marks had been there for a few weeks as I did not think I could remove them very successfully based on previous experience with pens, crayons etc. I did some research online and this was suggested. Having tried lots of other suggestions on previous experience such as of products, hairdryer the wall, bicarbonate soda etc always with limited success, I was not expecting much. I was wrong - all writing removed from wall and the wall looks like nothing ever happened - there are no marks from where I was rubbing however I am sure I have taken a layer of paint off. The sponge comes as a big block and you cut off the required amount, wet it and then clean. It didn’t take much to remove the marks. I then used the sponge to rub general scuffs and marks such as around light switches, on the stairs. All came up well but slightly more visible where I had removed some of these marks on the wall. The sponge was falling apart after doing this so was then binned, but I probably used a quarter of what was in the box. I will ensure I always keep this in the house for future use. Highly recommend especially with toddlers in the house. Worthwhile investment!
