I have tried many home hints to clean the headlights on my 20 yr old Mazda 3 Maxx Sport, non of which touched the yellow cloudy Perspex. I watched a YouTube demo of the Sylvania Headlight Restoration Kit and decided if Sylvania doesn’t clean them, nothing will. A lot of rubbing was required to use the 3 different grades of sandpaper but definitely worth the effort. I followed the steps exactly and now my car looks as if it has new replacement headlights. Thank you Sylvania.

En mi caso además no es que estuvieran amarillentos los faros, más bien opacos y con arañazos y capas viejas de laca de pulidas anteriores por lo que tuve que utilizar lijas grado 4000 y 7000 (además de la lija grado 3000 que incluye) para un acabado más fino y el resultado me dejó sin palabras. Insisto mi caso era un poco extremo, así que si solo utilizas los insumos que incluye el kit obtendrás un resultado sorprendente. El mejor que he utilizado a la fecha, ampliamante recomendado.

I used this on my 2005 Dodge Dakota. My headlights were so foggy, that any amount of extra dirt that landed on them would make them almost entirely useless. I had my skepticism about this product and how well it could really work, but I was wrong, this is a fantastic product and made my headlights almost as clear as the day it came out of the factory. I would gladly suggest this to anyone who has old foggy headlights, it works exactly as advertised!
