EasyDerm Quick WIDE Pimple Patch 2ea – XL Size for Severe Breakout Care

I use EasyDerm whenever I get a pimple. I used to use the smaller one, but I just found a bigger one! This is going to be so much more convenient!

I saved these until I had an outbreak that was sizable enough to warrant applying them, because I hadn't realized how large they would be. The patches are at least an inch and a half wide, which is really quite a lot of surface area on a person's face. But it's also worth knowing that they have a kidney bean like shape and seem to be specifically made for your chin. So if you try to apply them other places, especially highly contoured places like the side of your nose, it's probably just not going to stick well. They do have micro darts and they are fairly pronounced to compare compared to others I have tried, but it's not painful. There's also a gel/cream that comes with the patches in a little tube and it is apparently very easy to use too much of that, because once lubricated, the patches don't stick well at all. In fact, once I used it in what I thought was a very light amount, I couldn't get it to stay on my face, and had to use a piece of medical tape over top of it to get it to stay. So because these are so mission specific, limited to only one zone of the face, and because they're kind of expensive and large, they aren't as versatile as they could be. It seems like if you always have chin breakouts, these are for you. But if you get pimples in unpredictable places, or in places where you need a lot of flexibility or have facial contours, like between your eyes or on the side of your nose, you might need more conventional patches that bend and stick wherever you put them.

It was too painful on my deep acne and I had to take it off after ten minutes. Not a good value either for only two patches.

Used to use the original-size ones, but this size is useful too and gets the job done!!

A real lifesaver for my cystic acne!! I’ve used microdart patches in the past but it would take several days before any difference started showing. With these, the results were quite literally overnight. I’m repurchasing whenever I need to zap a cyst quickly, literally the best thing I’ve ever purchased for my skin!! Promise you the price is so worth the results

These are a cool concept but the execution is rather…ouchie. I’ve tried microdarts before so I’m not bad with a little bit of discomfort, but these magnesium patches feel kind of like resting my chin on an acupuncture board. If it was just for a few minutes it wouldn’t be so bad, but they’re difficult to sleep in and I don’t really want to walk around at work all day with one of these on my face. When I did manage to keep a patch on my face the full 8 hours, it calmed the stubborn breakouts on my chin. My skin would still be a little red from all the “pokey bits,” but otherwise much smoother. I think they’d be worth using again if I keep getting under-skin breakouts like that, but for everything else I’ll stick to normal zit patches.

Even when I apply it to clean, dry skin, it doesn't stick well to my chin area. I feel like I just wasted my money given how expensive it is.

I had a bunch of breakout spots on one cheek. I used one of the patches on it. You first add serum that is in the little tube container, then you stick the patch on your skin for 2 to 8 hours. I had to take mine off a bit early because I, unexpectedly, had to go out in public and I can't do that with a silver patch stuck to my cheek. The sticky part of the patch is soooo strong I was afraid it would break blood vessels, or cause other damage, when I tried to get it off. While I was wearing the patch the serum kept leaking out (possibly because I put too much). Luckily that made it easier to get the patch off than it would have been had I stuck it on more tightly, as instructed. While I was wearing it, it was starting to feel like needles were sticking in my skin. I was afraid it was damaging my skin. When I removed the patch (early) I could see it had definitely made a huge impact on the breakouts. They were almost all gone and even better the next morning. The kit comes with ONLY TWO applications. I think it's more geared for chin area only, even though some of the pictures showed cheeks. It's definitely pretty effective, but maybe a bit harsh. I don't find it particularly "calming," lol, but it does get results.
