Good value for money, the dog seems happy.
No problem getting the dog to eat these. Good stuff.

Worked wonders for my dogs limp
My dog was limping on one of her front legs due to pulling a muscle, and we saw no improvement after complete rest for a week, I was about to make an appointment with our vets but decided to try Turmeric before forking out a vet bill and I'm glad I did! After 3 days her limp has gone away, I'm so pleased with it! We mix it in with her food and I also googled a turmeric dog biscuit recipe and I give her one or two biscuits a day which she wolfs down! Totally recommend it for any dog that has an injury, but turmeric has got lots of other health benefits too.

Fine product, but my dog will not swallow the hardshell capsules no matter how administered
Most dog breeds exhibit certain specific physiological weaknesses. An English Rough Collie is a breed well-known for athleticism, strong prey drive – and a genetic predisposition to hip and elbow dysplasia due to their rather delicate skeletal structures and joints (underneath all the double-coated fur, their skeletons resemble those of whippets). At 15 months old, for the third time in six months my Collie returned from a run around a large meadow, visibly limping. The X-rays revealed elbow dysplasia: there is a malformed joint between the radius/ulna and the humerus on one of the front legs, and he needed a V-PET (Veterinary Platelet Enhancement Therapy) procedure to fix it, which was fortunately 100% successful. It's therefore important that he’s given nutritional support for the joints. Turmeric is widely recognised and recommended by vets as the medicine of choice in such situations. This 600mg formulation from Primary Pets contains piperine to assist in absorption and is the ideal dosage (my dog needs circa 1,200mg every second day to guarantee continued effectiveness, as determined by body weight). The manufacturer claims you can administer it whole, hide it in your pet’s food or else twist open the capsule and sprinkle it into the food. The issue I have is with this hardshell capsule presentation. While many owners may favour it, it causes me problems. The turmeric is definitely not to the dog’s taste so sprinkling it in the food doesn’t work well. He avoids it if the capsule is put into the food whole and leaves it uneaten, as the capsule is unpleasant in taste, smell, texture and form to the dog food and easily identified. If I insert it into the back of his mouth and tell him to swallow it whole – which works with most meds - he will mostly either spit/cough it out or else hide it under his tongue and expel it when I’m not looking! He's clever/devious and really doesn’t like the taste of these capsules. For this reason I now choose a hard tablet formulation where available, which he will readily eat if mixed in with the cold-pressed dog food. Then he will swallow it, as the taste is much less evident than with the capsule. This is not a criticism of the Primary Pets product – which seems excellent in its own terms – but with the hardshell capsule presentation, which has proven difficult to get my dog to swallow by any method.

Brilliant... does exactly what it says on the tin *****
I am delighted with these capsules, my dog has went from being diagnosed with crippling arthritis in his lower spine, and advised it would be kinder to end his misery; to being able to climb the stairs again and moving around normally. I will add though that it does not remove the curvature, but the fact he is no longer in pain is nothing short of a miracle. I am usually very cynical about "cures" which is why I only ordered the small quantity, but I have since bought the years supply, that's how confident I am...I still can't quite believe it works, but it does. Thank you very much Primary Pets Premium, your product has given my boy a longer lease of life.

Quality supplement
My dog was recently diagnosed with masticatory muscle myositis, an autoimmune disease, which has given me reason to completely overhaul his diet, incorporating more anti inflammatory foods and supplements. I tried another brand before this one, which I found quite weak. The Primary Pets turmeric version smells very strongly of turmeric (sounds silly, but the other one didn't). I like that this mix has black pepper in it, something that's needed to absorb curcumin. He's been on two a day, for a month, along with his medicated steroids. While I can't see any physical changes, I know how beneficial turmeric is, so he'll be on this for life!

I have a new dog
My dog is 9 years old now and since the age of 7 has been quite stiff around the back legs, he had a couple of incidents where his back legs cramped up and he was terrified and in a lot of pain. It got to a point where he was lying next to a hot radiator for the pain to go away. My dog is allergic to Tuna and as such can't have anything with fish oil as no one can guarantee there aren't traces so someone kindly suggested Turmeric tablets. Within 2 days I noticed he was less stiff. He was able to walk further than he has in ages and he is not hesitant to jump on the sofa on his blanket anymore. It is like having a new dog. If you have a diva dog like me I wrap up the tablets in chicken and give it to him every night with his other medication. He has not had any problems with them at all. I really recommend this brand too, they are not overly expensive and they do not irritate my dogs stomach in any way, and he really has a sensitive stomach.

Makes a difference
My dog has arthritis. Having read a lot about how best to use Turmeric I decided to split the dose and give half around lunchtime and half around 8 pm. After taking the tablets, my dog perks up and is happy to play and walk for a couple of hours. The other key advantage of this make is you can either open them and spread over food or take them in capsule form which I find is much easier.

Works excellently. My 14 year old dog doesn’t limp any more. I spread it out over her daily meals.

Imballaggio ottimo, confezione arrivata in perfette condizioni. Ben sigillata.
