One of the bottles had white crusted powder around the outside of the cap and under the cap, which is a sign not to use it any longer.

You will be scarred after tasting this... which is exactly what you need for fit testing.
When fit testing, you want to be a thousand percent sure that you're detecting leaks, and this stuff will not let you down in that department. In fact, for the next week after fit testing, you'll still have the memory of this disgustingness in your brain, imagining it still on your tongue, even after eating a block of chocolate to remove it from your mouth. Milk, lemonade, probably even fire won't remove it from your tongue, but chocolate does. And Oreo Cakesters, for those weirdos like me that love Oreos but hate chocolate.

Does just what it says on the tin.
Bought this for mask fit tests with a portable nebulizer. Can definitely taste the aerosols that get generated. Can't ask for more from bitrex than that ;)
