Not gonna lie, this keeps getting advertised to me, and I keep getting upset that it's not shampoo. It's not like I ever thought I wanted pepsi shampoo, but I do now.

Can this be refrigerated before and after opening?

Even though all the soda flavors contain sodium benzoate as a food preservative, it says on the back of the bottles, "refrigerate after opening".

Instructions says fill cap to inner middle line, I assume this is for 1 liter of carbonated water?

First, I flavor mine with Starry. I go from the middle line up, depending on how strong I want. And it goes in the fully carbonated bottle (up to the fill line; never paid attention if that is a liter).

Can these type of syrups be used without a soadstream unit by just by using like a mio water additive??

It would taste like gross flat soda, but sure?

good for cutting calories while satisfying sugary soda fix

Love it. Has caffeine and some sugar plus sucralose. Almost as good as the real sugary pepsi but at 30% of the calories. I did have 1 bottle that sat unopened for a few years, and I think the synthetic sugar in it broke down (as it tends to do) and the result tasted off. When making it "fresh", its fine. So I would say to use this product right away and don't let it sit too long, like most diet products
