Works on bead chain for fly tying
I bought this stuff to color/coat bead chain eyes used in tying many fly fishing fly patterns. By the 4th one, I had mastered the technique, which I guess I just invented. I've only heard of dipping lead jig heads in this powdered paint previously. Took a chance it would work for my fly tying needs and am not disappointed! It worked very well. Take note, fly tiers!

Comes out nice but I will chip off over time so I have to re dip my weights

Very difficult to use successfully
These paint powders are very difficult to use without filling in the jig holes where the lines attach. The holes get easily clogged up and the hardened powder is like rock, and extremely difficult to remove without messing up the paint job on the rest of the jig. Much more cost effective just to purchase jigs pre painted and ready to go.
