Good... For the first months.
Leaks have caused me a lot of grief with all my 28 Nora's Nursery nappies. Within only 3 months of use on a reasonable wash routine, the PUL around the legs is always damp and leakage in the same area occurs in less than 1hr with the bamboo inserts. I'm hoping it's only a problem with towel absorbency, because no refund is available for failing PUL unless washing on ridiculously low temp for less than 120 days. Very disappointing. As I still seek to solve the problem, I give the brand 2 stars as I've been reluctant to do 2 wash cycles per load and invest even more money into laundry products... but the trouble this has put me through feels like 1 at best.

Leaks!!!
I really really really wanted to like these diapers. Though there were cheaper options, I bought three of their sets because the diapers promised to use safe materials. But the diapers leak so bad! And the leaks always happen through the seams. The first time I contacted the customer service, I was told it’s due to build up (though they were new) due to using a non-recommended detergent by Fluff University. I was using Nellie’s. So, I switched to Persil and followed the washing instructions as exactly recommended. Now, three months in, the diapers are leaking worse than ever. Every diaper leaks. Each and every one—for both pee and poop. I always change the diapers every 1.5 to 2 hours. Leaks through the seams and onto baby’s clothes. Some times, the inserts aren’t soaked through, but it still leaked through the seams. I tried doubling up the inserts. Still leaks. Same thing: through the seams and most times inserts aren’t soaked through. I still changed the diapers at least once every two hours even when I double up. When contacted again, customer service asked if I inserted both inserts into the pocket and said the pee probably missed the inserts entries and that was why it leaked through the seams. But the inserts were flat, so I doubt that is the issue. Even if it was, it doesn’t explain why my single inserts diapers leaked all the time too. I haven’t gotten a reply from customer service after that. I also have a video to show that there is no buildup as the water gets absorbed almost immediately. So that isn’t why leaks are going through the seams either. There seems to be good reviews, so I’m not sure why all 21 diapers I got from Amazon leaks. Customer service can’t seem to give me any answer too. So… well. I won’t recommend this.

Perfect
Easy to put on. Soft so baby does not get upset and does not leave a rash. Perfect.

First time using cloth diapers
This is my third baby, but my first time using cloth diapers, and I am absolutely floored I didn’t try this sooner! I’m in love with these diapers! There was definitely a learning curve for me, figuring out how to snap them correctly and snuggly, but now that I’ve figured it out it’s a breeze! I’ve used pampers with this baby previously and I would always have to change his diaper 2-3 times a night otherwise he would leak through, but I put two liners in one of these cloth diapers (one on the inside pocket and one just set in the diaper) and it lasts ALL NIGHT! And no leakage! And baby slept so soundly, he didn’t seem uncomfortable at all, unlike with the disposables. While it does seem pricey to get started with these, I realized that I spent about $75 in a single month on disposable diapers. I ordered 2 sets of these (7 in each set) plus an extra set of liners and a set of the disposable liners so all in all it ran me about $200 after tax and shipping for 14 diapers and 24 liners in total plus 3 rolls of disposable liners (100 in each roll). So easily what I would’ve spent in 3 months on disposable diapers, I spend in one go and now I’m good until he’s ready to potty train! I’d say well worth it! We go through usually 3 diapers a day, I typically change him often enough that I only need to switch out the liners and the rest of the diaper is still dry, but occasionally I’m not fast enough. I do a load of laundry everyday, so I don’t run the risk of running out of liners, but 24 liners still lasts us a couple days. And if you aren’t someone who does laundry everyday just invest in more liners! The disposable liners work great for poo cleanup, they *usually* keep the diaper clean (my baby is 6 weeks so this is the yellow mustard poo that gets EVERYWHERE), and they’re biodegradable which makes me feel better despite still being non reusable. This has been a game changer for both myself and my baby, and I cannot talk enough about how much I love them! I will definitely be buying more 😭 simply because I love the designs and want them all!
