Used this when I replaced the impeller on my boat. Seems to be holding up fine.

I've been using Permatex #2 forever. Its perfect for valve and cam covers, timing chain covers, water pumps, carb assembly. when you want one side to stick so you can take it apart without a chisel and a lot of grief, this is the stuff you use. When it says it stays flexible, that's what they mean. The average shade tree mechanic can put this in a box for later, come back in five years and its good as new. Skip all the silicone stuff that goes solid in the tube in a few months. There's probably plenty of household uses I hadn't even considered. I'm going to go looking at all those drippy angle stops and such.

Used this on all the hose and fitting connections. A thin smear on any connection and the little drips go away. Helped save my sanity when changing to a sand filter for my above ground pool. Wish I would have started with this stuff instead of the tape.

Great name brand and does the job.
