Nanotch Protective Wrist Watch Strap for Apple iPod Nano (6th Gen.)

The item was shipped out promptly, but without a tracking number. All I had to do was ask for a tracking number and Nanotch responded immediately with one. I received my item sooner than the expected delivery date, but when I opened the package I wasn't satisfied with the color of the band. It was a little lighter than the picture, more of a "sky" blue and I was expecting a more "neon" blue. So I emailed Nanotch and told them I was expecting more of a brighter blue like shown in the picture and asked if I could exchange for a green band instead. They emailed back shortly after and told me they were just going to send me a new band. The new band I received was the green one, I'm very satisfied with how I was treated by Nanotch and the quality of the products i've received. These bands a very strong silicone, not the cheap stuff offered by other companies. The band is very durable and makes the back of the Ipod Nano water resistant with the way it slips on (This is ideal for working out!). Although it does not have a open slot to charge the Nano, I do not mind because it keeps dust out of the Nano. The silicone is raised up enough to protect the Nano, should it ever fall. (I have yet to drop mine, but I believe it would be protected enough if I did so as to not crack the screen.) This is one of the only cases/wrist band I would recommend to anyone with a Nano 6th Gen. I have bought other cases and have been very disappointed. Nanotch will not let you down!!!! I'm probably going to purchase a black and a white band to have enough variety for whatever I am wearing. I would love to see a standard case from Nanotch!

I am very happy with this watchband! It looks great and I like the way it protects my ipod. I have no problem taking the ipod out to charge it, it is easy enough to do. All the controls are still accessible. I may have to buy another color or two. I am a little concerned about the band holding up having to take the ipod in and out so often, but I guess time will tell. I am very satisfied with this purchase and I think it is a great value!

And keep it (mostly) dry. Notice the caveat, as my Dad learned the hard way that when you wear this as a watch you forget that it is woefully _not_ waterproof (in particular if you don't have something in the headphone jack). Otherwise it does a good job covering the vulnerable bottom port, but overall it offers some nice versitility to using your iPod Nano in its alternate role.

Perfect. Exactly as described. fits perfectly, no chemical smell or filled in rubber manufacturer defects. Looks very cool and practically renders the nano waterproof! the headphones jack fits perfectly through the hole provided for it and I run the chord through the arm of my sleeve down my arm to the 'watch'. Everybody comments on how cool it looks. will buy from this seller again and soon. the price ain't too bad either considering how well this product works at making your nano a full functional wrist watch.

I ordered this for my 8 year old and she likes it. PROS: The color matches the picture exactly and it's made with really thick silicone. The case fits the nano snug but still allows it to be removed without much effort. The silicone is also very flexible but will not tear easily because of its thickness. It will also provide ample cushioning if the nano is dropped. The buttons are covered but are still easy to use/identify while in the case. The headphone jack is also easily accessible. CONS: It doesn't have an opening for the charging cable. What that means is each time you want to charge or load more songs on your nano you'll have to remove it from the case. This may not be a big deal for some but my daughter and I thought it would be more functional if the nano could be charged while its still in the case. So I cut out a hole the size of the charging cable. Problem solved but this would have been much better if it was originally designed this way. Overall: Good design and excellent material. Only gave it four stars because I didn't like the idea of having to remove the nano from the case every time it needed to be charged.

The strap arrived and looked ok until I went to put my iPod in and wear it. The first thing I noticed was that the edges, in a few places, had ugly mold flash (excess material) hanging off. Then I was disappointed to see that the darn holes for the strap's latch weren't even cut out. The iPod socket is well-sized and it did fit like a glove. The material is super-soft (softer than most similar materials). This is good and bad. The good is that it's very comfortable and not restrictive. The downside is that lint, dust, and fuzz are more likely to stick to it. After messing around with a hobby knife trying to trim the flash and cut the notches out, the strap was covered with dust I wasn't even aware was on my desk surface. I had to scrub it off with soap. The strap does what it says, but come on now, sell a finished product. It's pretty cheap (compared to other straps), but if you buy be prepared to put in some work with a super-sharp knife making it nice. I could see it being something you keep in a drawer and just use to run around the neighborhood in sweatpants for a workout, I wouldn't recommend it as a daily casual watch.

The color of the product did not match the picture. I tried to contact the seller through amazon but received no reply. All I wanted to do was exchange this and they don't even have the courtesy to reply. The product is fine (but be careful the green color is a very dark camo green not what is pictured in there sales photo) but I suggest dealing with another vendor/seller other then Nanotech,

While I haven't thought of using my iPod Nano as a watch - I purchased this item to make it easier to wear it for treadmill and crosstrainer workouts. It does exactly as promised and is comfortable. I recommend this product to anyone who is into fitness and needs a good place to stick their ipod so that they can zone while working out!
