We used to have a multicooker, but I never used it because I found the numerous functions to be overwhelming. I had previously purchased the Our Place air fryer combo oven as a gift (which was very well received!) and decided to give the Dream Cooker to myself. To be honest, one reason why I chose this over other brands is its aesthetics. It is really attractive, and I am not shy about displaying it on my countertop like I am with some of my other appliances. Aesthetics aside, I am super-happy with its functionality. So far I have used it twice. The first time was to pressure cook a bone-in, skin-on eight-pound turkey breast. After a quick Google search to figure out the right settings and timing, I prepped it with a dry rub and seared it with the searing function, which gave the skin a nice bronzed tone. I then pressure-cooked it for 48 minutes, with a couple cups of chicken broth added. The result: tender, flavorful, fall-off-the-bone white meat. Not dry at all! I strained the liquids, cooled them in the fridge overnight, strained off the fat, and got a very flavorful, gelatinish turkey stock that I have since used to make soup and gravy. We are still enjoying the fruits of this very easy to make, economical protein in a variety of dishes including soup, salad, and casseroles. I next tried making a pot of pinto beans. After another quick Google search, I chopped and sauteed some aromatics on the saute function, then added the dried beans at a 3-to-1 ratio of three cups of water per cup of dried, unsoaked beans. I pressure cooked for one hour. The outcome: perfection. The beans were so tender and flavorful. It would have taken triple the time to cook these on the stovetop. The Dream Cooker is also super-easy to clean. Just remove the metal insert to wash, and wash the inside of the lid. I only got a few little drops along the rim of the cooker, which were pretty easy to wipe off with a paper towel. My motivation for getting myself the Dream Cooker is to eat healthier, including a variety of legume and whole grain dishes. I love beans and grains, but I don't cook them as often as I'd like because of the time involved. The Dream Cooker is changing the game for me. I am pretty stoked about my initial experiences with the Dream Cooker and anticipate it wll prove to be my most-used countertop appliance. If you are looking for an easy-on-the-eye multi-cooker that is easy to learn and saves you time, go for the Our Place Dream Cooker.

I love this pot! Very attractive and highly functional. Much fewer cooking options than my last cooker, but I don't mind that at all. I wish the pot inside had handles so that I could remove it from the cooker... every time I use it, is a logistics nightmare trying to figure out how to get it out of the cooker. I fear one day, I may have a serious kitchen accident. Material is high quality and the cooking speed is about what you expect for an electric cooker (nothing beats a stove top pressure cooker, of course). Value for money? I would say yes - it is no better or worse than any of the other options I have used and this one is attractive to boot!

The toxin-free ceramic nonstick pot makes cleanup a breeze (even after searing meats or making hearty stews), and the hands-free auto steam release takes all the guesswork out of pressure cooking. It cooks everything faster and more evenly than my old appliances, from fluffy rice to tender roasts, and the beautiful design means it stays out proudly instead of hidden away. I got the Our Place Dream Cooker (6-quart, Blue Salt) to replace both my rice cooker and my Instant Pot, and it's done both jobs better than I expected. The rice is the star. This makes the best rice I've ever had, better than anything from my rice cookers. It comes out fluffy and evenly cooked every time, and it doesn't stick or burn on the bottom. Our Place says the 6-quart pot holds up to 9 cups of rice, so it's easy to make a big batch. It's also the first appliance I actually want to leave out. The Blue Salt color is stunning. It's a soft, muted blue that looks amazing against walnut wood counters and a white backsplash. The rounded shape and clean touchscreen read more like decor than a kitchen gadget, and it fits my kitchen far better than my old black-and-chrome appliances did. Why it beat my old appliances: - One machine, not two. It has four modes (Pressure Cook, Slow Cook, Sear/Saute, and Keep Warm), so it took over for my Instant Pot too, and my counter is a lot less cluttered. - Ceramic nonstick pot. My Instant Pot's pot is stainless steel, which grains stick to. This pot has Our Place's ceramic nonstick coating, which the listing says is made without PFAS. Cleanup is genuinely easy; most of the time it just wipes clean. - Hands-free steam release. I don't have to flip a valve and dodge the steam like I did with the Instant Pot. It releases pressure on its own. - Simple controls. The touchscreen lets you set the mode, time, and temperature yourself, without wading through dozens of presets. Keep Warm runs up to 12 hours, so rice stays ready for dinner. Specs: 6 quarts, 1200 W, and a pressure-cook timer from 1 minute to 2 hours. It has a slow-cook timer from 30 minutes to 12 hours, a locking lid, a condensation collector, a stay-cool exterior, and a detachable cord. Trade-offs to know: - The pot isn't dishwasher safe, and you should skip scouring pads to protect the coating. Since it cleans so easily, this hasn't bothered me. - It has fewer functions than an Instant Pot or Ninja Foodi. There's no air frying, sous vide, or yogurt mode. - It's fairly large: 12.9 lb and about 15 inches tall. - It's pricier than an Instant Pot (MSRP is $199) and has a 1-year warranty. Bottom line: if great rice matters to you and you want one beautiful machine instead of a rice cooker plus a pressure cooker, this is it. I'd buy it again.

I cooked raw frozen chicken with other ingredients to make chicken soup because I forgot to start earlier in the day, and this was a brilliant option for a quick dinner. The convenience of this machine and the cleanup were awesome; we had soup in 30 minutes. The pan is removable for easy cleaning. I will for sure be using this item repeatedly.
