We have purchased at least three of these in the last couple of years. The model looks great, very realistic, and we thought the metal body would be indicative of sturdiness. But no. The first model lasted six months or so before the long arm broke apart. The second model lasted only a few days before our 4-year-old broke where the arm attaches to the body. We're hoping this latest one lasts a little while. Also, the rubber tracks have the habit of coming off fairly frequently and if your child is like ours, getting lost. Such a pity for such a nice looking model.

Very nice, well-made diecast with nice detailing. I have this on a model train layout. I have 2 of them, 1 on a quarry scene and 1 on a flat car load I made.

This is good for a model on a desk or shelf, but not sturdy enough to handle kids. The tracks came off in about 10 minutes and are now lost in the play room.

I’m a little disappointed. My two year old is obsessed with excavators and it’s so hard to find construction toys that aren’t fully plastic. It’s way smaller than I thought. It’s not yellow but a brownish color. The boom and the scoop are not that easy to move and the rubber tracks keep coming off when my son plays with it.

So far, my 6 year old grandson has not had a problem with the tracks coming off like some of the other reviewer noted. He already has the front loader and is looking forward to getting the entire set.

This is so realistic! My 2.5 year old son LOVES it. He loves that the treads move and the hydraulics show. He's all into the details.

It is brown, not yellow so that sucks. I bought it for my son since he loves excavators but this is not a suitable toy. The tracks keep coming off and it does not move with ease. It would be a good decoration but not good enough to be a toy. Toys shouldn't need constant fixing

I got this for my son for Christmas I expected it to be bigger then it is but still a good quality product that came within a few days of ordering.

I ordered this one for my son’s birthday today but when we open the box. There was a part already damage. And the track keeps falling. I’m not sure it is normal or what so I decided to return it. Sorry. It just not the birthday gift as my think.
