I need to push cable from my dash cam between windshield and trim.Will it work without damaging cable and plastic trim?

The windshield adhesive/caulk is what holds the windshield in place. You don't want to weaken that. So if you're looking for these to wedge the cable into the caulk of your windshield, you should find a way to run the cable under the dash trim. Be careful putting pressure on the glass to push the plastic dash trim - you can shatter your windshield. These are stiff plastic, about as stiff as the dash trim plastic. They will mar the dash trim before twisting or deforming the tool. But they are stiff enough to pry the trim away from the plastic rivets/fasteners underneath.

Is it only good for plastic screws/ wire connector removal?

No its great to remove anything PLASTIC inside your car, RV, Truck or inside your home that is plastic, without using a regular screwdriver that causes scratches on car interior removal to change light bulbs, or add led lights, or replacement car interior item, I never used it for screws (unless they were plastic push screw on car) and I never  used it for wire connector removal. MULTI-USE - Works great for car audio/radio system installing or removing, door panel, moldings, emblems, window trims or automotive interior repairing and furniture restoration, and anything plastic or hard plastics. Very handy tool to have, and must have, to prevent scratches, when prying off car dash, plastic ALL interior parts, for your replacement parts.

Yes you can. Plastic is soft but firm.
