This is my first pair of crocs and I since they've been hyped up so much, I was expecting a life changing pair of shoes. Well, don't get your hopes up. Cushioning: They have about the same level of cushion as a pair of asics Gel Kayanos. Not as much cushioning as max-cushion shoes, def not as much as Oofos. Strange thing is the sole has a cobble stone texture, I'm assuming for traction, but it really diminishes the comfort of the shoe, especially by the end of the day. You can really feel it rubbing against your feet at the pressure points. I would not recommend these for exercise. At least not without socks. Material: pretty good. The toe box is a rubberized material. Interior heel lock area is a synthetic. The insole is one piece and cannot be removed. The shoe feels pretty grippy. One quirky thing is the shoelace holes are not accessible from the back, so you actually should never remove your shoelaces of you'll never be able to relace them again. These are not marketed as water shoes, but they can definitely function as water shoes. Sizing: Size down. I wear a 9.5 and got a 9. Still have A LOT of room in the toe box. Value: I got these for $32 after tax which is not bad for a pair of waterproof shoes. I was just hoping that cushion would have been a little more comfortable.

I wanted to like these so much, but could not get the proper sizing, they were either to big or too tight (not small) If you wanted some decent comfort you would have to go a size up, but then you would have huge gap between your toes and the edge of the shoe. Once I did cram my foot into one, the cushioning was nice but did not have any arch support. If you have feet these could properly fit into, great casual shoe. They look really nice in person, better than photos. But I guess with the crocs material, there is not much flexibility to have the shoe conform to your foot shape. If they even had extra toe box room, these would have been AWESOME.

My standard shoe size is 9.5 so, Crocs being Crocs, I ordered the next lower full size. Men's size 9 in this shoe is easily as long as a size 10 or 11 in a standard shoe - there's more than an inch between my toe and the front of the shoe. When I needed a second pair of these I ordered a size 8 - and it fit perfectly!

I was supper excited to get these as they were super comfortable to wear both in and out of the water. I did find the holes to be a bit big though as I found that they let in lots of sand and small pebbles so I would have to take them off when getting out of the water water to clean them out. My biggest complaint though was that on the 3rd time wearing them while tying the shoelaces one of the shoelaces tore through the shoelace holes.

Great shoe, very comfortable and well made. I normally wear a 9, but 9 was way too big. Returned and ordered an 8.
