I had to reset it a few times and keep it plugged in for it to finally connect. It shuts off quickly after unplugging. The cord is so short keeping it plugged is not possible.

Terrible. Seems that the more Vine reviews I see something has, the worse the product. Just my observation. It never connected. Instructions were in broken English at best and what I could decipher was useless. The app is only in Chinese. Again, super helpful 😕 did not matter though bc it NEVER connected. I can’t give any insight into the actual camera quality but one can only assume it is as good as the rest of the experience I had. I did send it back for a refund. 👎🏼

We got this mini indoor security camera to monitor our pets when we have to be away. The setup was easy, just scan the QR code, download the app, and pretty much you are ready to go. If you want to view clips, you would have to subscribe to their cloud service or use an SD card. You can set up the app for alerts to your phone for a live feed. The image is pretty decent. I wouldn't say it's high-end 4K, but at least not 'grainy'. The battery life is about 2-3 hours, which really depends on how much motion it's capturing and what features you have enabled, etcetera. The camera’s compact design lets it blend into any room without drawing attention. It comes with a strip for wall mounting. We have ours just sitting on a shelf in the area we monitor with our pets when we're not home. We can pretty much place it anywhere we want. It says it's indoor or outdoor. We use our indoors. I would say if you're using it outdoors, it would have to be under solid cover. It's a budget-friendly mini cam that's pretty functional in all aspects for the price.

This Zhoucxzda Indoor Camera is ultra tiny (1.5"Hx1.25"Wx1.25"D), but sturdy. It sets up using WiFi and the Okam Pro app that's available for either Android or Apple. It is reasonably priced and comes with a charging cable (but no adapter), as well as a small 360 degree rotating bracket to mount it on, if you so desire. Once charged up it is wireless, so it can be placed in any convenient location that has a strong base WiFi signal, to keep track of pets, kids or just an eye on your house while you are away. The camera has a handy motion detector function with push notifications in the app to alert you when there is movement within its range. This can be set up for specific times of the day or night. It has LED night vision so it works in the dark or during the day. I am dissapointed with a few aspects of this security camera. They promise "Easy 3 steps of WiFi configuration", but it took me way too many tries to simply add the camera to the app. Not everyone has a 4.5 WiFi connection. I almost gave up in frustration when it finally connected. Once connected, it always seems to be going "offline". I also have problems with the fact that it does not hold a charge for very long.

If you’re looking for something tiny that you can easily hide on a shelf or among some decor, this definitely fits the bill. The video quality is actually surprisingly sharp for how small the device is, and I can tell my cats apart even in total darkness thanks to the night vision. One thing to watch out for is the "No WiFi" claim in the listing. It’s a bit misleading—while you can record to an SD card without internet, you absolutely need a 2.4GHz WiFi connection if you want to use the app, get motion alerts, or see the live feed. Setting it up took me about five minutes, but the instructions are pretty bare-bones, so you have to be okay with a little trial and error in the app. The motion sensor is super sensitive, which is great for catching my younger cats when they're zooming around, but it does drain the battery fast. If you have active pets, I’d definitely recommend keeping it plugged into a power source rather than relying on the internal battery. Also, keep in mind this is "video only." You can see the mischief happening, but you can't talk through the camera to tell them to get off the furniture. It’s a solid, budget-friendly little "nanny cam" for basic pet monitoring, just don't expect it to be a rugged outdoor camera despite what the title says.

Does not work. My internet provider blocked the connection to the device as potential threat. Do not recommend.
