Yes4All Old School Adjustable Dumbbell Set with Weight Plates, Star Lock Collars/Connector, 40lbs to 200lbs Adjustable Weight Plates Set

Got to say, I was not expecting much from reading other reviews, I mean sometimes you get exactly what you pay for. However this is not the case, I was looking for a cheap way to start working out and build my self up to heavier weights. This by far was the cheapest and best option. The quality of the product is very good, I don't know why some people said the weight were greasy and had a bad smell. Did not experience that what so ever, the bar is made of very good quality. The weight stoppers work good, I have noticed they will get a bit lose but that is expected, any idiot would figure you would want to make sure your weights are secured before lifting every single time, and not relying on the product. So I didn't understand others complaining about that. There are threads on the bar so there is no way the weights would come off and hurt you unless your a complete moron. You should always secure the weights etc. common sense ! The weights are great, and heavy(for me atleast). Nothing wrong with them. Don't let any of these little babies who prob just complain to be compensated scare you off. Product works as expected, old school dumb bells.

During the COVID quarantine madness I decided to invest (modestly) in my own personal workout equipment. I don't need the high-end stuff, just something functional and affordable. These adjustable dumbbells DEFINTELY meet my needs! I picked up my first set (40lb) when I started a new exercise routine and quickly purchased another set (50lb) to increase my options. Nearly a year later and I have since also purchased the 60lb set as well as a few other plates from different manufacturers to further increase my options. Sturdy - These bars and weight plates have been sturdy for me with no problems (I haven't pushed them to the limits by dropping them yet... hopefully it won't come to that!). I have loaded them up to 50lbs to a single dumbbell and haven't noticed any stress on the bars. Variety - The flexibility of being able to add or reduce weight on each bar is amazing! Plus, these bars work great with other brands of weights with a 1" hole, so I have been able to shop around for more weight plates to add to my collection and they all work as well as the name brand weight plates. Comfort - The grips are not as nice as some of the REALLY high-end dumbbells, but they are similar to what you would find in a name brand gym. I use weight-lifting gloves and there is no problem with the comfort. Overall, an EXCELLENT choice for a low-cost, build as you go consumer who wants to get into lifting without dropping $300-$500 for adjustable dumbbells.

* Easy to change weights. Collar loosens but not a problem if you check whenever you grab it. * handle is only 14" long so can't put a lot of plates on it, so can't do a lot of weight or have a lot of nuance with several small weights. These come with 1" plates and are ok but if you have wider plates (higher end) you won't get more than 3 plates per side. You can buy longer handles if you want. 1" plates over 10 lbs are too wide to use easily on a short handle like this so you'll max out on weight with these handles if you add extra plates, probably about 60 lbs of plates per handle is the most you can do comfortably. * grips are also 1", which is too small to be comfortable for me. Would be better if the grips were wider like some dumbbells. They're hard to control at over 30 pounds for me with the narrow grip. * chrome grip is slick with decent amount of weight. Plan to wrap them in grip tape as you add more weight. * weight of handle is weird, between 3 and 4 pounds instead of standard 5. If you have other handles with a more standard weight you won't be able to balance the weights easily, and with math.

Excellent product at a very affordable price! I just needed some dumbbells to tone up my arms, chest and shoulders a little, and this set has me doing quite a few sets! They are excellently made and sturdy. There’s no rattling or plates sliding off accidentally like I have read in some other reviews. I just have to make sure that they are tightened before use. I have already ordered a couple more plates for some heavier curling and this bar can take whatever I throw at it for sure! There was no smells when I opened the package, but I wiped them down with some good disinfecting wipes before use which is common practice for me. The grips feel secure in my hands, no worries there! So YES, I highly recommend these dumbbells for anyone who wants to have a small gym or as an addition to an existing gym at home! No excuses, get up and get into motion!! 🏋️‍♀️ 😎👍

Based on reviews I read, I was expecting to get something decent for the low price, but not that great. And at least a little dirty and worn. What I received was much better than that. Everything is shiny and new, and in clean pristine condition. The weights look freshly painted and are clean, the bars and collars are shiny and chromed. The collars spin on and off quickly and easily. Everything fits tightly, there is no rattling or clanging. Nothing was dirty or greasy as some reviews reported - I started using these right out of the box and have not cleaned them. Maybe this seller has improved their quality control. I would prefer the grips on the bars to be a little wider in diameter, but that is personal preference. I am extremely pleased with this purchase. An incredible bargain at the current price as of December 2024.

Love these weights! Easily adjustable to whatever weight you need. The area where you hold onto it feels a little rough in my hands, but since using the weight training gloves, it’s no longer a problem. These weights seem really well made and I think they will last a long time. Great value too!

Mine didn’t arrive greasy and was packaged well. The metal is clean and shaped very nice. No rough spots and no chipping. The handles are very comfortable and have a nice grip. The nuts hold tight and don’t come undone. I will update if anything changes. You really can’t beat the price for the quality you get with this set. I would stay far away from the plastic weight sets or Cast Iron. I think thirds are stainless steel but either way they are very well made. I will order more from this company. I am very happy.

The weights have a quality look and feel. The individual plates make it easy to lower the weight when exercising smaller muscles or to go big on a single dumbbell for individual bicep curls. Because they are individual plates they are not rubber coated so you want to pay attention when you put them down.

Pedí las mancuernas, para entrenar a mi mamá, en casa. Cumplen con su cometido, y a buen precio.

solid. exactly what you expect.
