Buyer beware!!
I have bought the lucky Iron fish previously and was very much pleased with the quality and it came with instructions included and was very good quality!! I bought this Iron Fish as it was less expensive and wanted to try it out! A waste of money!! I cleaned it well and boiled it in water as I have been doing with my older Iron fish and I found that the water was orange with orange particles floating everywhere! No way will I even attempt to drink that! Of course I decided I would return it and it has a no return policy! Do not waste your money! Buyer beware!! I will stick to my lucky Fish!

Buyer beware - I doubt this product is safe
I bought this in May 2024, and my daughter refused to let me use it until I lead tested it. Well I finally just got around to getting a lead test and we test a few other objects first to see if tests worked. I tested several old bowls bought at thrift stores, thinking they might have lead, but tests were negative. Then came the iron fish, the second the swab touched it, it began to turn dark maroon, indicating the presence of lead. Good thing I never used this to cook for family.
